Wish I hadn’t visited, should have known as empty and cold. Food reasonable but visiting toilet was a big mistake and the waitress was miserable - obviously didn’t want to be there.

Had a takeaway this evening from here.Ordered our takeaway was told half hour until pick up, then had to wait a further 40 minutes. The chicken curry wa slimy and watery the chips were hard and the chicken balls were tasteless.The staff are basically running the show and the kitchen is so disorganised it’s ridiculous.I wouldn’t bother!!!!!

Delicious ! , visiting Tavistock we wanted to have a Chinese takeaway , unsure which one to pick as not being local we chose the Birds Nest ignoring the handful of bad reviews , and I’m glad we did the food was hot and plentiful . The Crispy chilli beef was probably the best we have ever tasted . Very

Avoid avoid avoid!!Ordered several times and always get the order wrong. Customer service is shocking and young girl on the front has a terrible attitude.My final and last time of ordering I was missing 2 dishes. Rung them and asked for a refund as by the time I would drive back down to collect the missing dishes my food at home would be cold. They said this wasn’t possible but I could still go and collect one of the dishes that was missing. Not listening to the fact that I had a 15 min drive there and back so the food I did have would be cold when I collected the missing dish.I then asked for a full refund and I would return all the food! They agreed to this. So all the food went back, them checking to make sure I had not eaten anything from the dishes when I returned. Clearly going to re heat and send back out to someone ?I was then told I had to wait for my refund because they done it at the end of the night wanting my card details written down! It took my husband to go in there and demand it now before the refund was given.

Crispy shredded chilli beef was soggy and falling apart and house special fried rice was mush like dog food, rang and they told me to come back and they will replace the dishes got there to then be told they wouldn't replace house special fried rice but will replace the crispy chilli beef dish which obviously I wasn't happy about! and then to top it off the replaced crispy chilli beef had bits of paper in! And to be honest I can't be bothered to go back and experience such rude people again! Will not be going back there again! Kantonese is by far better than this place, AVOID

Not good. I have to say the quality of some of the food was appalling. The Chicken for use with the Satay sauce was probably the saltiest thing I've eaten since I last drank some seawater. I can only imagine they're storing chicken in brine during the off season to preserve it. The ribs were fine - nothing all that special, same goes for the prawn toast and spring rolls. (About the same quality as Tesco pack you cook yourself). The Chicken balls were nice in themselves but the Sweet and Sour sauce seemed a wee bit runny and was heavy on the tomato. The Chow Mein was disgusting and was completely ruined in taste with a strong smelling cabbage - upon opening the pack it was a smell far more similar to our compost bin than pork noodles. All in all it was a great disappointment.

Really delicious food and decent service. Was a bit chilly in the restaurant, but we were the only diners, so we can't blame them!
We ordered a family Chinese from here, my daughter found a piece of fine metal in her soft noodles with short black hair in, went back they would own up to it very poor, won't be returning there

Our favourite Tavistock Chinese food! When ordering a delivery or takeaway there is such a lovely young lady I speak to and have a giggle with as my fella is so fussy ?.Vegetarian options: They are very happy to accommodate most dietary requirements.Dietary restrictions: They are very happy to accommodate most dietary requirements.

Food was ok, 7/10 - but service was dreadful. Like eating in a dentinst waiting room, no cheery waitress or customer service, Ordered drinks that never arrived, takeaway is the way to go from now on.

My first time leaving a review but its also my first time being shouted at.. couldn't find my home because the house name clashed with another but in an entirely different village. Which the difference being village name and postcode obviously..simply type the post code then area name and search for the house name! Very easy isn't it one would think ? but nope. She shouted at me because she had trouble but didn't think to confirm untill our food was damn near cold. Told me I should change my house name took the money from my hands and walked off without even giving me my change! I regret not giving her a piece of my mind honestly. Bearing in mind they've found this house before but she can't work a Sat nav so took it out on me ??♂️ food is great but my god don't get a delivery because it'll be cold and you'll have to change your house number and or name!
