Recommended by a friend in the area, we 6 tourists entered the unknown. The staff were very friendly but gave us time and space. The food that was ordered was unbelievably good. Hot, spicy, flavoursome and a joy to the tastebuds. Would strongly recommend and definitely revisit if in the area. Marc - Northampton

Food was bland to say the least and the decor was dated, menus sticky and when going to the toilet it appears there is a room that is just used for junk and looks untidy. We hadn't even got our starters when a group of around 15 people (mostly late teens/early twenties) came in after having a skilful elsewhere. (It was a Friday and people are entitled to have fun!) However we had met as a family who don't see eachother often and it was impossible to hear the person next to you or across from you when trying to chqt due to the sheer volume of the other table. When one of our party shared when we paid that it was an unpleasant experience, we were told that easyjet wouldn't give us a refund on a flight to magaluf with a stag party.... pretty sure easyjet wouldn't have let them on in the first place, well, a few or them at least! To make it even worse, one of the women at the table when asked to keep the noise down shared more than once that this was why they requested that they were upstairs, not down with everyone else! Absolutely won't be back. Poor customer service, unpleasant atmosphere. At least they tried to tell them to be quiet!

My favourite indian restaurant when visiting Tavistock ?I've always booked a table in advance and my friend regularly has takeaways from here. Cannot fault the service and the food is top notch- plenty of it too! Highly recommend!

Disappointed. I thought this was the best in Tavistock. Ordered recently but all dishes were too sweet. Even the kids complained their korma was very sweet. Dishes were very watery, not the thick sauces. Naan was coconut instead of garlic and very sweet. Waited 45 mins. Very disappointing.
