One of the most dog friendly places we've visited. Our dog will be eagerly awaiting our next visit as he was spoilt with a sausage!Very friendly staff, and a good selection for lunch.

Massive argument broke out.My family and I were in the local area and wanted to get pasties after a nice walk. So we phoned the Original Pasty House to potentially book a table for the 7 of us. The man on the phone was very nice and kindly informed that they do not make reservations however he told us that there was a table free if we went down, so we did. The 7 of us arrived and there was a massive queue, we thought no problem we will wait for our table. After a while the manager I believe (An old lady) made us sit down on two separate tables due to our large group. We were hesitant and uncomfortable with her decision and made requests if we could bring chairs to one table so we can sit and eat as a family. She denied all our requests. So we sat at two tables very awkwardly and feeling very uncomfortable as half a dozen of the staff in the shop starred at us and didn't offer any solutions. Then as my mother was politely asking another table of customers if they were going to finish soon, the manager aggressively marched over and told her not to take other peoples tables which she wasn't. My mother then got very upset by her rudeness of course and challenged her, a very large argument broke out in the shop where many people were starring and observing the situation that could of been easily avoided. The customers were clearly disturbed by this situation however the manager took no action at all to de-escalate the situation. We then left despite the fact that the manager asked us to leave. In terms of the food, it looked absolutely disgusting anyway. The pasties looked like they were covered in scabs and the staff handled them like absolute amateurs.I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy with its hostile leadership and poor business ethics.

Amazing wraps. Really friendly and helpful staff. There are better regular pasties around, but the special flavoured ones are apparently really nice.

Love this place, especially the magic bags. The food is delicious, probably the best pasties in the area that's for sure.

Delivery took half hour longer than it said. We was supposed to be expecting it at 19:15 however it didn't arrive till 19:45. The chips was rock hard and cold and the "cheese" burger had no cheese as seen in pictures as well as that we didn't receive the correct dips. I understand that it can get busy during the evenings but it would of been nice to get the food hot and on time. The food is normally lovely but today was just disappointing.

A fantastic varied menu of food and drink, very helpful staff. A clean and open cafe with a great atmosphere. Just lovely, see you again.

The food here was really nice for a pasty shop. I got a giant steak pasty which came with salad on the side and coleslaw, my mum for a baked potato which also came with salad. The prices were reasonable for a sit down meal. It was busy when we came on a Thursday lunchtime and we had to wait about 5-10 minutes to get a table but when we did the food came quickly. The place was clean and the women who worked in the cafe bit were really nice and friendly. Would recommend coming here for a quick lunch if you're in the area

Made a quick pastie stop visiting the town. Got the Thai curry pastie and it was pretty good. The size is smaller compared to the other shops but had good amount of chicken in it.

Feeling somewhat hungry, myself and my partner decided to get a pasty for lunch. My partner went in and bought 2 gigantic pasties and 2 bottles of water.I came in just after she had bought them. I asked how much they had come to and the price shocked me £16.50p. Now when I questioned the amount I was told that they don't make the prices . Now to break this down that's £5.85 for a Gigantic pasty, and £2.80 for a 500ml bottle of water.what really got me though was the size of the pasty,I would say that it was no more than 6 inches long and quiet flat do to the lack of filling I would class this as small, but I will leave that to your judgement.
