Breakfast Restaurants in Teignmouth

“We have been trying to get here for a meal for probably 5yrs !! We were fans of No 26 cafe in Teignmouth owned by the same lady but sadly closed and now a new establishment. So.....at last we have made it ! It was mid day and beyond but quiet. Nice ambiance and a similar feel to No 26 and a nice decor. Previously I have always loved the various Croque's at 26 and they are still available here. So a Croque Maison was the meal of choice. Quite expensive at £14.95 considering it's a snack/brunch really but it was absolutely delicious. My partner had the sweet potato soup and a lovely roll. Good service but sadly they wouldn't let us sit in the lovely window seat ( which annoyingly remain empty throughout our visit ! ). There is a outdoor area which I'm sure is a delight on a lovely summer's day overlooking the Teign estuary and Teignmouth beyond.....we will be back but working out whether it is open or not is another challenge !!”
