We have been at this accomodation 3 times now, and all visits have been fantastic. We came for 5 nights. The room was immaculately clean we stayed in room 6 with twin beds. The outlook was private, and we had the window open at night. We were provided also with a large fan. The shower cubical is brilliant, along with the en suite toilet and sink. There is a walk in wardrobe which is roomy. We had really good sleeps in the beds, and enjoyed our daily breakfasts. A massive amount of choice on the breakfast menu. Obviously we will always choose this accomodation, Trudy & Paul are amazing people, and make everyone feel welcome. Perfectly situated on the edge of Town with car parking, central for supermarkets, shops, and restaurants. Thankyou for yet a gain a very enjoyable few days seeing you all again. Lynda & Alan B.

Room was spacious, immaculate, well provided. Shower room too was spacious with a large shower and excellent water pressure. We particularly liked that our room was accessible via the fire escape and overlooked the pretty courtyard. Good parking area. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and food excellent and generous. Would definitely recommend and hope to revisit soon

The Lowman in Tiverton takes its name from the river, which flows serenely past under the bridge some 60 yards in front. This is an unusual bed and breakfast in that it used to be a pub, which is evident, but is now a coffee shop by day and a bed and breakfast overnight. This means that it is both a pleasant and a peaceful place to stay. It is run by Trudy and Paul, both experienced local publicans who will make you feel extraordinarily welcome. I arrived soaked to the skin after a rather long and very wet motorcycle ride. Trudy immediately showed me to my room and insisted on taking my wet clothes and leathers away so she could dry them out for me. I was very pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of my room and particularly the en suite shower room/wc. (Other Guest Houses take note)! No taking a shower in a phone box at The Lowman and the room price was the same!Beware of breakfast at The Lowman, it is both generously filling and delicious! Even the toast, which is not the usual sliced bread but fresh bread cut by hand. If I were to plan another Devon trip, I'd be checking The Lowman's availability first! Also, they have an especially secure car/motorcycle parking arrangement which guarantees peace of mind!

The staff is very welcoming and friendly and they worked really hard to accommodate all our needs, fantastic customer service! The room was very clean, cute and comfortable. The location is great, walking distance to anywhere. Great value for money and we would definitely stay there again if we have the chance.

We turned up to stay for 3 nights, couple were lovely and friendly. We were shown our room this is when the disappointment kicked in. There where yellow stains on the sheets and on top of the mattress was a piece of foam, obviously must be something wrong with the mattress, there was no way I was sleeping on a piece of foam. The bathroom floor was spongy so must of had a flood at sometime. Stains on the curtains, I know they get good reviews but unfortunately not for us.

On arrival your met with a warm & friendly welcome? Lovely clean fresh rooms? ideal location not to busy & a 2min walk into town, there's a secluded car park at the rear, so you enter through the Beer?garden, it's so welcoming in the evening all lit up. The breakfast menu?has something for everyone. Definitely recommended & will stay again when in the area?? and only 5-10min from the M5?
