10 Phoenix Ln, TivertonWe just spent a week in Tiverton on holiday. Our first stop was breakfast at Elsie May's. Good choice, allowed substitutions, friendly service and quick. Really tasty and reasonably priced. While we were there we noticed they do coffee/tea and a slice of cake for £4 - an absolute bargain these days! We popped back later and had coffee and walnuts cake with a cuppa. Huge slice of cake which was also delicious. We didn't need a lunch that day. It was such a lovely, welcoming place with a good range of well priced food and drink that we visited 4 times during our week. I wish we had a similar place local to us!

12 Bridge St, Tivertona perfect spot for a filling delicious breakfast. our plates were crammed full and still at a really affordable price; we couldn’t believe just how much we got for our money. the iced coffees here are a treat too - being whizzed into a perfect frothy frappe-style drink. if you’re looking for a pit stop that leaves a smile on your face, look no further! the staff even gave us chocolates with our order for christmas!!

10 Bridge St, TivertonNawab is by far not only the best Indian Restaurant I have had, but also one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had.
I ordered online and a small mistake happened. The issue was rectified quickly and without any hassle. The food is always great with an amazing selection. I have also attended the banquet evenings which is a brilliant deal. Service within the restaurant is always attentive and friendly. My favourite Indian Restaurant

The veggies in one of the dishes were so fresh, flavourful and crunchy the spice was amazing, you could tell all the chicken, veg and sauces have been cooked fresh (unlike nawab using old large batches that taste off) . Even warmed it up the next day and was great still . Hats off to Mumbai kitchen

2 William St, TivertonDecent service and I love a domino's but I chose the herbs as an extra topping as I fancied a bit of Italian spin. It was overloaded with it. Completely covered the pizza and was way too much.There should be a way on the app when ordering to ask for a light dusting.Should also just have the option of oregano.Everything else I can't fault.

9 Bampton St, TivertonHad a truly amazing experience yesterday with my family! The young lady serving us last night (who the uber driver called Siri?) was quick , polite, friendly and full of smiles. She was very patient with Charlie and Esme (my two little ones) who were insisting on telling her themselves what they wanted even down to the bread! They were presentable and looked made with love (not like some places where they slap it all on!) and she seemed like she was happy and proud to work there. Well done you!

Really nice guy served us throughout, the Sunday roast was amazing and so were the puds.Lovely cosy atmosphere too.We will come again.Kid-friendliness: We went with both our kids and our daughter has special needs and can make a mess as struggles to hold food. We always apologise in advance and assure we will tidy before we go and the owner was lovely about it and made us feel totally welcome.Lovely way with the kids.Wheelchair accessibility: There is parking at the real right at the back good and a flat navigable surface to the back door and straight into the restaurant

The White Horse Inn
12 Gold St, TivertonFound this pub on a last minute trip to Tiverton. Walked into a warm welcome and within a few minutes we were chatting to the locals and staff who were very friendly. Spent the rest of Friday in the pub enjoying the cider and great atmosphere and juke box. Went back on the Saturday for more of the same. The customers and staff made us very welcome and we ended up having a fantastic weekend. We will be back in the area soon and this will definitely be our pub of choice. Entrance is a bit hidden you need to look out for the sign.
Friendly warm atmosphere inside, parking in the car park at the back and outside seating in their small garden. A good large coffee is standard and the fruit scones very nice and warm.
One downside is the internet which is very very slow!

The food was absolutely fantastic, every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The staff were so welcoming and made us all feel like part of the family. The restaurant is also very wheelchair-friendly, which was perfect for one of our family members. A highlight for us was being able to take home some of their delicious cakes for later. It really made our holiday special, and we’ll be remembering this experience for years to come. Highly recommend for families!

Higher Moor Square, Lea Rd, TivertonWe asked Ceylon to provide evening food for 100 people for our wedding at Huntsham Court. It was really easy to work with Kumari to arrnage everything. Pete turned up exactly as planned and set up the food for the guests. Both the meat and vegan curries were delicious and very popular with the guests. I would absolutely recommend Ceylon Curry house for catering a large event.

The Red Lion Hotel
Rookery Hill, Oakford, TivertonStayed here for New Years Eve 2024. We chose the pub / hotel for its remote location and lack of fireworks (we have dogs and one is traumatised by loud noises) - from the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. A quintessential English pub with wonderful, nicely designed and spacious rooms and very comfy beds (we had Beech and Birch). The owners and locals were very friendly and inclusive, taking care to make us feel welcome. We felt very well looked after. Breakfast was delicious (full English) and served with locally made tea and coffee (Miles, made in Porlock) and unlimited juice. We are happy that this place is only 50 mins from where we live because we will definitely be back for lunch and will find an excuse to stay again soon, I’m sure… highly recommend. The Flying Pickle
40 Gold St, TivertonOn arriving in Devon for a weeks holiday we stopped in Tiverton to get some food and kill some time till we could get into our accommodation, we took a walk round the town and found The Flying Pickle we went in and were pleased they are dog friendly so we could sit inside. We ordered coffees and scones with jam and clotted cream. \nThe Scones came out warm and huge and delicious with good coffee. \nThe staff were lovely and brought biscuits over for our dog. \nDefinitely worth a visit if you’re visiting Tiverton.
