We visited on 9th January. A lovely welcoming smile from Zoe. Can't recommend this Harvester enough. Excellent food and service. Zoe was excellent at her job. Very pleasant and never without a smile at our table. Well done & thankyou.

After being seated at a table with a lovely view we looked forward to a nice meal. I ordered a sirloin steak and asked for it medium to well done specified not bloody at the time of ordering.It was very busy when the steak arrived with 1 waiter seeing to a lot of tables however that aside the steak arrived and the meal looked fine. However steak was medium rare and bloody. It was sent back,the remainder of the meal left on the table and i waited. It was approx 5 mins before steak was returned by which time chips mushroom peas and the blood and pepper sauce were cold. Meal was not charged for after complaining and i was offered alternatives which i refused. Shame as its in a lovely spot and we would have gone again on our visit to Torquay if this hadnt been our 1st experience of it.

Dog friendly even for our giant breed (which is often not the case). We sat in the bar area which was cosy. Children's meals had a good selection. I had the gammon which was very good. My husband had the double burger, also very good. Welcomed our very large dog, water bowls in the bar area. Would visit again.

Ordered chicken Skewers with Fries, meal arrived with Jacket Potato,all very dry, should have come Coleslaw but was told there wasn’t any in the kitchen so if I wanted it to go to the salad cart…. My partner had a mixed grill everything well over cooked with a chicken leg that was partially black with no chance of cutting it… So all in all a very poor meal especially as the restaurant was virtually empty. Also the refillable drinks machines were switched off while we were there. Will NOT return.

I had a sirloin steak with no sauce or sides….. steak was supposed to be rare….it was medium to well done, peas were processed, mushrooms were tinned, both were cold. Partner burger and chips were so over seasoned he found it uncomfortable to eat. On visit to salad bar, all tubs, toppings and dressings were empty!

Very clean and lovely Christmas decorations made it feel warm and inviting. Food was delicious, amazing dirty fries. We were served by Michael who was very friendly, smiley and polite. We will definitely be coming again.

Amazing service within 4 minutes of getting here and got a seat by the marina. Food was lovely and staff very pleasant. Definitely recommended and we'll definitely be back. Thank you to all staff for making our visit very enjoyable regards Jonathan
We turned up as walk ins at this Harvester early on in the evening. The colleagues were very friendly and welcoming. Very good food and well worth visiting. We would definitely visit this Harvester again.

Great location and honest food, but the service is very slow and rude. We asked to be moved to another table, away from a loud and coughing party of 7, but we told that there were no available tables, when I could count at least 5. It took an hour for our food to arrive and we had to ask for it table to be cleared while the restaurant was literally empty. Admittedly, it's one of few options on the seafront, but if you can avoid it, I would encourage you to do so.

We had a lovely time, we was a big party and everyone’s meals were delicious and we were looked after amazingly by Rich who couldn’t have done enough for us, it was lovely to have such a friendly face serve us :)

Great location, food lovely. Had a really rude waiter, talking to us over other customer, in an abrupt manner. Ask us to stack our plates, which we have done anyway, when we had finished. Totally spoiled our lunch. Short staffing is not our fault, don’t take it out on the customer.
