We were so excited to come to this place reading all the reviews but the food did not raise even close to the expectations. The fish was bland, the mussels weren't great, portions rather small and the whole meal was way overpriced for what we got. The vegetables that came with the fish were just not good. Paid around 200 for 4 adults and 2 kids and this is without any wine.

Easily 4.8 stars! Monkfish tail very juicy, albeit smaller than shown on a daily catch plate; crème brûlée divine; a starter of mussels, a prawn and a scallop had a lovely sauce. Selection of wines was fine as well, notably, whites offered by glass very decent (and it turned out, any wine could be ordered by glass). Friendly folks and Soave ambiance added to the overall very good experience, if a tad pricey.

We had drinks & sampled some of the restaurant food in the wine bar & it was so good we visited every night of our stay. Robin has such incredible passion & knowledge so if you love wine like we do, prepare to love it even more! The tempura prawns are the best we've had in the world. A proper gem.

Tonight was my first time there. Not from the local area but would go back again. I'm not the biggest fan of fish restaurants but still loved the food. However, what really exceeded my expectations was the level of service. Probably the best service I've had at a restaurant.Thank you, team!Parking: Pay and display parking or on an app. The resturant is directly opposite. So no long distance walking after over filling bellies.

Went with Mrs G and a couple of our friends for a birthday celebration. The food was delicious, service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food served. We will definitely be revisiting.

We have been here many times over the years but not been for what seems an age so for my birthday we chose to go to our favourite place with good friends. We only expected the best and we got it as usual. The food is fresh, simple and superbly seasoned alongside the slick and professional service from the serving on team. Everything was delicious and unpretentious. I will never stop coming back and recommending No.7 to others.

I have never experienced such good service in a restaurant, certainly not in the UK. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was buzzing and they put a big sign up above our table wishing my wife a happy birthday! What is good restaurant service? It's a real human connection, friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, expert. I had given up any hope of finding this whole restaurant experience in the UK. I thought you had to go to France. Absolutely wonderful.

Our first visit last night and certainly not out last. Service was impeccable, great wine selection and wonderful good. Unfortunately for us out tiny appetites meant we couldn't clear the plates and enjoy it got longer. Thank you.

We had a wonderful night at No7. Paul and his staff were very good.Selection of fish menus was so diverse.A great touch was the display of fish available at the start. Fully recommended.
