Went on Thursday evening, great service, great food and most of all a great price. Plus got 10% discount for being over 65. Being old does have advantages sometimes ???

First time I have used the Shiphay Chippy, and was well impressed by the service and the food. I will certainly be in the future without doubt. Well done The Shiphay Chippy ?

Really disappointing. Ordered a take away to be delivered which simply didn’t arrive. When we called the restaurant the advice we were given was “well, if it doesn’t arrive, just go in line and ask for a refund”! Utter shambles. We had ordered for friends and children who entered up upset and eating toast for dinner. Everything about this order was a disaster.

Newish to the area and first time I’ve tried the shiphay chippy, ordered on line via their app,was easy to use and everything well priced,it’s the best fish and chip takeaway we have ever had, fish was amazing and a nice crispy batter as was the chips, not your usual soggy chips and fish, staff very friendly, can’t recommend this chippy enough, thanks gang will defiantly be back soon,

Awful service and totally unacceptable waiting time. Dangerous floor and poor regard for loyal local customers.. won’t be skating on the lady’s floor agai.

Although the food is nice, I wouldn't recommend getting delivery through Just Eat, everytime we do it takes an hour or two to receive our food. Seems like they are either unable to support delivery efficiently or it is a low priority on their workflow.

Don't bother.Ordered 10 pieces of what was advertised as wholetail scampi. Arrived in a tiny box. Tiny pieces of scampi, pictured with a 20 pence piece for size comparison, what a joke. Tiniest scampi I've ever seen and £5.50.Next up was a portion, a large portion of salt and chilli chips. Very greasy, no sign of any seasoning, 2 bits of raw green pepper and a couple of bits of of very greasy onion.Pea fritter, tasteless.1/2 pound cheese burger next. Cold on arrival. Really bad chip shop. Don't bother.

Very good fish and chips. Good portions. Usually cooked to order, some nice and fresh and hot.

I had a lovely time at Lady Chip. The scampi was delicious and I personally judge a chippy by its scampi. As far as I'm concerned, this place fries excellent scampi and therefore it's worth visiting. I should also add that the chips were very good and it all came together for a reasonable price.
