Awful. Don't bother. 1 hour 30 minutes to get a main meal and dessert. Terribly slow service for mediocre food, should have gone to weatherspoons......

It’s cold in winter and the food and drinks are overpriced.Impressionist photographs of the theatre on one wall aren’t particularly charming. The menu is simultaneously over simplified and confusing; is a platter a sharing option? Normally is, not here.Everyone working there is lovely but the layout is annoying - you want a beer and a coffee, you have to queue in two separate places.Pizza could do with a tiny bit longer in the oven.

Just called in for hot drinks whilst walking along the promenade. Staff were friendly and helpful. Disappointed they do not serve decaffeinated tea, apparently "management" don't believe there is a need for it. Whilst we were there 2 people asked for decaffeinated tea so obviously there is a need for it!

Small theatre cafe bar. Nice staff. Good for a drink in the interval and the drinks prices are not over inflated . You can order ahead online for pre-performance or interval drinks. Better value than the ice cream in the auditorium!

Slow service with young staff that didn’t have a clue. But the experience was 10 times better than Frankie Boyle. Beer was good.

Popped in to the restaurant Saturday the 19th August been in before not bad coffee bowls of soup nice view anyway yesterday went in and just about too order food saw a sign card only no cash ? so went up too the till and asked politely why don't you take cash a mature lady replied nothing too do with us American owners ? were in England and it's not a cashless society I said well take it up with the owners she said then a young girl behind the counter said okay bye sir in a sarcastic tone of voice I said don't be cheeky if it's not a cashless society you have no right to refuse my money anyway just couldn't get through to them so left and I will never go back again absolutely appalling and childish customer service.
Bar was great and queue was managed very well. Had a lovely spiced rum which I can’t remember the name of. If you could share the names of your runs that would be greatly appreciated. Will definitely visit the bar again next time I go to the theatre.

A pleasant environment within the theatre with views of the harbour and Torbay. Feedback about painfully slow service was initially not well received ("you're just arguing with me" - "no I'm not!" was worthy of Monty Python - I took the five minutes not the full half hour) but happily Ross (who held a more senior position) came to the rescue, smoothed the way with some poised customer service and all was well. Sometimes it's good to know what will happen if something goes wrong. Well done Ross and the pizzas were great.

Booked to have a meal here before watching a show in the theatre. It sounded really nice online and the location you couldn't really beat looking out over the marina. This wasn't the reality! We arrived and didn't really know where to go. Soon finding what can only be described as a food hall canteen... We spoke to the staff at the counter who weren't very enthusiastic. This may be down to the reason everything was missing off the menu! Out of a list of options maybe 2 items were available. We thought about having pudding to which we could choose from the cold cabinet on display. This again was empty! With a single square sliced sponge as an option... We decided against this. Over all a rubbish experience. At least the show we watched was fantastic.
