My partner and I went for a breakfast just last Saturday morning.The food was absolutely amazing.I had poached eggs with spinach and hollandaise sauce.They cooked it as soon we asked for it.The place was cosy and peaceful. There were fews boards games that you can pick while you are waiting for your breakfast to be cook.I had a hot chocolate. I like it but I would prefer taste the chocolate more then the milk, but maybe that it just my preference.I didn't like that they put the music off as soon we get inside.I would put the music on for little bit atmosphere.Anyway overall it was a nice experience.Kid-friendliness: There are boardgames for kids.

Me and my partner visited for the first time on Saturday and I already can't wait to come back again. Fantastic service and amazing quality food. The Welsh rarebit was the best I've ever had! The garlic mushrooms were delicious and I love the proper hot chocolate. Such a lovely experience, they couldn't do more to accommodate you and were so friendly. Going to recommend to everyone ?✌️

Poached eggs with garlic mushrooms on toast. Why eat anywhere else? I wanted Eggs Benedict but they were out of mayonnaise so offered me poached egg with garlic mushrooms on toast instead. Totally delicious. I was also offered garlic pesto to accompany it, but declined on the grounds that there was enough garlic in the mushrooms.

Really nice breakfast menu with some different options like overnight oats. The veggie breakfast was excellent and the coffee was really nice too. Dog friendly as well ?

A true "Totnes Café", amazing culture of musicians, crafters and dreamers that frequent this place, which as well as serving delicious food is a little hub of hippy energy in the centre of Totnes. Don't expect fast food, or a fancy atmosphere, but if you want to meet friendly and interesting people it's the best.

The Lighthouse Cafe is one of those quirky places you’ll be glad you found. This is NOT a fast food cafe, but the atmosphere, games, chill music and conversations with other tables soon passes the time.The quickest I’ve had to wait for a breakfast is 20 minutes, the longest was an hour (the poor lady was on her own with a full cafe).Their homemade beans are scrumptious, the food is well cooked and delicious.Bring cash as they don’t take cards, and there is zero phone signal inside the cafe. So put away your phone, and strike up a conversation with those around you.
