Naaah. Anyone remember, or care about the days when tea was a teapot a cup and maybe some hot water to adjust the brew strength? I think the tea is reasonably good but all I am getting is 'paper cup' with hints of tannins. (Too much tea in a bag for one cup - about right for a pot.) For goodness sake I wish at least a few cafes would educate their staff about tea!

A lot of echo in the cafe if there are many folks there so, not relaxing. Tge chicken bacon mayo roll was expensive at £4.70 and the bread of the roll was very soft and 'elastic' when I trued to break it with no decent knives to cut it up and the plastic knives being unable to make a clean cut the eating operation was messy. The 'Hot Chocolate' was like warm, in a small cup with the powder clogged at the bottom of the cup and chocolate powder all around the cup. First time I've tried the place, not the experience I had hoped for.

This place could be SO good. The food is actually great, albeit from a very small, limited menu. But the service is awful. The staff are very nice and polite but in truth they're rushed off their feet. It's not their fault at all. The management, in their infinite wisdom have decided to put all their staff on zero hours contracts, from what I hear. So of course many of them left and I don't blame them at all. You can feel the soul has been sucked out of the staff. I actually had to carry the free water dispenser over as they were too busy to notice it was empty. And three takeaway coffees took 20 mins to arrive and only then after I spoke with someone to remind them. Chaotic and going downhill fast. It's like they're doing it deliberately. Wonderful location and the potential for greatness but out of principle, I won't be going here again. You can't treat people like this, it's not fair.

Rude service, but not just rude, intentionally rude, and unacceptable. Arriving 10 mins before opening time. I waited, along with a handful of other customers by an open door; there were 3 doors to choose from, so we naturally formed a queue by the one which was wide open, facing the staff in the open kitchen area. Once the clock on our phones clicked to 9am, we entered and stood at the till point, where a mustached man stood - he may have been opening the till for service. I smiled and brightly said 'good morning'. He looked up, said good morning back, and then proceeded to leave the till area, to open another of the doors into the restaurant to let in 2 more customers in. He returned back to the till area, but chose the empty neighbouring till, intentionally blanking me and waiting customers behind me. He proceeded to serve the 2 others people he'd just let in, leaving us waiting at a now unmanned till point by his side. We all looked at each other incredulously, we were being ignored as service proceeded for others. We watched, we couldn't believe how someone could be so intentionally rude and treat us as if we were invisible. As soon as the 2 others customers had been served, we moved to the till next to where we stood and I asked why we had all just been ignored. He said (with satisfaction in his tone) that they were not open when we entered, and he had customers waiting at the other door to serve first. Rude, rude and intentionally rude service. Not the best start to the day for us all. That said, my bacon and egg sandwich was delicious and the coffee equally as good. The offensive service ruined my morning and I will never return as a result. I hope senior management take note and appropriate action.

Great food great service.. Been coming here for years for Saturday brunch but today got a ticket for non payment in car park, we certainly thought we had made payment but know the machine can be tempermental at times.. I really can't see why there is not a system to waiver fees like Waitrose have done especially as we were eating in here.

Lovely, big place, with healthy options and tasty food. Very continental feeling, currently, as they have many foreign employees, which gives it a lovely city feel, but in the heart of the country.Sat outside in the open air. There were water bowls for dogs and it's very dog friendly inside and out. Top marks. Make sure you get your table number before ordering, otherwise the very efficient gent at the till may be mildly admonishing ? We'll come again. We walked from Totnes (3 miles ?) so don't know about parking pricesVegetarian options: Many vegetarian options. We had smoked tofu burger (yum 10/10) and aubergine flatbread (7/10)Wheelchair accessibility: Open, flat, with ramps

We sat out side as we had our dog with us. Unfortunately the system to identify whose order they had was to come outside and shout the persons name, this was very distracting and spoiled any atmosphere as they were very busy. Maybe they should number their tables instead. We had a long wait, this we didn't mind, it was the near constant name shouting that was awful.

Called into the Green Table for a late lunch- the menu says that the lunch menu is served until 4. We arrived before 3 and were told it was too late for our choice- a BLT - and there was soup and salad only. The soup on the menu was tomato so asked for this- but no it had been changed to lentil! Decided to have a scone with cream and jam instead as lentils do not suit me - disaster there was no cream left!! Decided to eat elsewhere. Really disappointed as have been there on many occasions in the past and found the food and service very good. Unfortunately service was very slow and poor today and there was no apology for the missing items on the menu.

Amazing, lovingly cooked food and awesome baked goodies. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. What really makes this place is the staff, many of whom have been there for years. Always friendly, cheery and helpful. I hope they get paid well for all their effort! The best!
