Love this pub! Visited while staying at the Eagle House just around the corner. A proper old fashioned wet house, local but very welcoming. Highly recommended!

Oldest pub in the town, apparently built for the stonemasons that built the church next door.Always a choice of 5 real ales, plus ciders etc. All in excellent condition.Proper "pub", no jukebox or TV.Regular live music, quiz nights and always a warm welcome.
