Very relaxed evening in a very busy bar. Despite being exceptionally busy Rhian was very pleasant and helpful, worked so hard and was polite throughout.

Awful! £16 for adult carvery, the food was terrible, you get two slices of meat, the roast potatoes had no flavour and weren't cooked, sprouts were undercookedGravy was like water and tasteless, place was messy, dirty, usless staff and overpriced, never going again.

Very friendly staff, they have our dog leftover turkey trimmings and very quick service. Food tasted good, was served hot.The place is dog friendly inside and out.

We had a lovely Christmas Day at the mill, food was good, great service and a lovely atmosphere. Great value for money. Thanks for having us.

Quite quiet, but as it is one of our local pubs, we quite like it that way!!!

Amazing food and service - good value for money. We will definitely be back and recommending to to our family who visit this area frequently. I loved my roasted vegetable and lentil hot salad and my husband had the best hunters chicken with home made onion rings as a side.

Great pub on the edge of the holiday park, nice, clean and spacious - my only gripe was the food - my wife ordered the chicken basket which was £15.49 - it was basically frozen Iceland food, we weren't expecting the finest chicken in the land but at £15.49 it wasn't worth it.Please do visit this bar, it's well worth it and a change from the on site bar / food .Staff were great, and even happy to discuss our concern on the food.

Would of given zero for food if I could. Where to start fish and chips probably the most simple dish to cook and serve in my opinion but my god batter really dark brown and tasted burnt the fish itself was a shade of beige. Fish I get in a inner city fish and chip shop is white and flakey not beige and dried stodge and this from a seaside area Side salad or peas? What a joke chose side salad came in the smallest pot ever no exspence spared. My wife had Pie of the Day Turkey in a White Wine sauce wit Mash again shocking the sauce had a zero taste of wine intact the pie was entirely tasteless the mash was cooked from frozen with no seasoning. The lad who collected our plates asked if we were done we said never really started it was tasteless and disgusting, he took our plates without a word of apology or I will tell chef (I hope he did cause he does not deserve that title) we walked out disgusted and will never walk in again. We are regular visitors to the area and have ate here before. Avoid at all cost go to Ship Aground instead or anywhere.God knows what the mother site of Golden Coast food is like I won't be trying it during our stay.

A lovely 'proper' pub with excellent service, a good range of drinks and delicious food. This pub is dog friendly (downstairs) and offers entertainment a few nights a week (there was a singer on the Wednesday and a very good pub quiz on the Thursday nights). A special mention to Scott behind the bar who provided an outstanding service throughout our stay.

The food was awful. Even the chips which I don’t think you can go wrong with chips but they did go wrong. Food took ages but we expected that as it was busy. Brilliant quiz night but the food lets the place down. This is the second time we’ve given the food the chance but both times disappointed and it wasn’t cheap.

Overpriced and unpalatable. Paid £18.95 for two soggy veg sausages. Tried to charge me two pound more than the meat and had argue with two people to get the price down. All the trimmings were cold and flavourless. The only good part of that roast was the Yorkshire pudding. I should have asked for a refund. Eat here at your own peril.

ate here twice whilst at staying at Golden Coast First time was for an evening meal, and the food was lovely. Whilst there we saw that they had a carvery on the Sunday, so we went back for that mid afternoon on the Sunday, and again the food couldnt be faulted. service was also good at the bar and the venue itself has a nice oldy worldy feel about it. Would recommend to anyone that was in the area

Whist staying at Golden Coast we tried this pub. The place was clean and the staff friendly. However, the food was of poor quality, portions small, poorly presented and luke warm. The "catch of the day" fish was cod straight out of the freezer. The chips were low quality catering ones. My chicken pie was served in a pie dish covered in flaky pastry that had lost its puff. It was basically a few pieces of chicken in a sauce which was runny like gravy. This was served with a lump of mashed potatoes and peas. In fact I think all the meals were served with peas.
