Restaurants in Woolacombe
The Jube
The Jubilee Inn, South St, WoolacombeNice pub with a relaxed atmosphere and very good food. Highly recommended the crispy chilli beef as it's the best I've had, even from any Chinese place. This wasn't the only tasty thing. It was all tasty! The S+P squid, hot wings, and of course the Blush Royale burger, and my wife enjoyed the Sticky chilli chicken salad. It's definitely a hidden gem and a great discovery. If back in the area, we will be sure to return.

Noel Corston
South St, WoolacombeHaving tried to book a table for 3yrs , whilst staying in Woolacombe, we finally succeeded An amazing intimate venue that sits 4 couples on individual tables in front of the maestro that is Noel Corston His wife Nora, had at least three roles throughout the night, great front of house and very engaging The food is thoughtfully , planned, prepared and presented from local suppliers by Noel The standout dish for us were the scollops in frozen buttermilk, although the crediton duck was just perfect If you like fine dining, great ambience and a chef who doesn’t take himself too serious, then this place is a must visit Thanks again Noel & Nora Not forgetting your son (kp) who makes up the winning formula

The Ship Aground
Mortehoe, WoolacombeLast day of the season. Came for a carvery, with the risk of no meat as we were a tad late. Found plenty to choose from, well presented and well tasty. For those of you wishing to partake, I highly recommend booking ahead. Other food on the regular menu is good, and they have a fine selection of ales (except on the last day of the season!).

En Thai Singh
1-2, Barton Court, WoolacombeAbsolutely delicious food, friendly owner, lovely dog, the chicken was tender, the rice cooked perfectly, quite spicy but that was good for me. Owner recommended the chicken massaman for our young ones as his mildest which they said was their favourite meal of the holidays. Will return next time in the area.

Stoned
Sands, WoolacombeReally enjoyed the pizzas from here, there was a great menu of options that they were keeping up to date with anything sold out, the queue was fairly long but they were taking orders and cooking them super quick with lots of staff working a military mission and the pizzas were very yummy. They were a bit pricey... some pizza options up to £15 which seemed a lot for fast food truck but when feeding a family but given the tourist hotspot price clearly isn't holding them back as plenty of us were prepared to pay for the convenience.

Red Barn Pub & Restaurant, Woolacombe
Barton Rd, WoolacombeWas an excellent family pub with a surf atmosphere, sadly it has now been sold to Hall and Woodhouse meaning all the independent brews have gone.On the upside, the staff are still there and just as good, dogs are allowed back in and the food choice (while different), is still good.
