“I booked a table for 13 people for the 3rd of August. I phoned the order through a week beforehand to make it easier for everyone. Every order that come out was exactly what they asked for. Food was lovely, the staff were brilliant and the atmosphere was how a village pub should be. Nobody left disappointed, but we all left not needing any food for a while. Highly recommended. “We popped in here over lunchtime for a lovely meal. It was mid week and quite busy. The menu was clear and there was lots of choice. Staff were super friendly. The steak and ale pie was huge! Loads of chips, peas and gravy too. The veggie burger was also good. The toilets were clean, with plenty of good quality soap. There were also a few parking spaces outside despite being busy. Parking tip - if you are coming from the Plymouth or Tavistock direction, don't be tempted to come off the roundabout at the car park by the shops as there is often a queue and parking fees. Head towards Princetown and take the first exit on the right after the roundabout. this takes you to the pub car park.”
