Awesome pub. We went there to watch the rugby and then stayed the night. The beer is excellent, the food was delicious and the breakfast the next morning was sublime. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Well worth staying there.

Really great pub. They always have an excellent selection of beers and ciders which change frequently, including some good alcohol free options. The food is really fantastic, great value compared to some other places locally and really good quality. The pies and burgers in particular are exceptional.

A decent pub with a lovely atmosphere. Visited here with 3 others for lunch. Warm welcome, excellent service. Good food and ale. I definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

Had a lovely stay at the Walkhampton Inn.Food was fantastic and great value. We stayed - the twin room was a little snug, but for the price still good value.Beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic! Highly recommend the sausages, a highlight of a fantastic weekend.Rooms: The beds were really comfy and the room had an ensuite (always a bonus). The twin was a little snug, but we had a look in other rooms and they seemed great.Still good value - though I think we'll get the family room next time.

Great place for lunch. Very busy even on a weekday. Friendly staff. Good upmarket pub menu. We had warm crusty rolls with delicious fillings plus chips and coleslaw - all excellent. Good selection of beers and an excellent selection of still ciders.

Don’t be tempted by ‘pie week’. I arrived at 1830 on a Wednesday booking to see that 80% of their menu was unavailable and one of my table members had to take the next day off due to food poisoning. After ringing the establishment to report this back, I was met with a very unenthusiastic apology and general disinterest. Quite a

Very disappointing, the service was poor, from ordering our food it took over an hour before we received our meals whilst other customers who ordered after us got there’s first. Then we ordered the 4oz burger topped with bbq pulled chicken, this came out asa chicken burger, no onion rings which others had and the chicken burger and bun were burnt. We also had the coronation chicken pie, the pastry on this was also burnt so it couldn’t be finished. I had the suet pie which was fine apart from the peas were under cooked and cold. We just eat what we could as we’d already been there so long. Not once did any member of the waiting staff ask if our food was ok and after finishing we were left sat waiting and in end went to the bar to pay. Again we weren’t asked about the meal almost like they knew it wasn’t up to standard…. That said I’ve been here before when it’s been busier and couldn’t fault it. Such a shame.
