Great traditional pub. Used to offer more veggie options, with half the specials board catering for veggies. Still good place though.Bring back the veggie pie (with black peppercorn)!

Super staff, nice atmosphere, good beer, fab situation, food... not so great.

Enjoyed the rabbit pie! Very friendly staff too...

Great location but food is poor, depending on the luck of the draw. Landlord pleases himself whether or not to open, and can be moody and rude with a take it or leave it attitude.

Very nice location and really friendly staff; however be careful with your food choice.. if you choose the ploughman’s lunch, it’s nothing more than a baguette and salad with butter and a bit of chutney.. it was far from my expectations honestly, and was worth £5 tops, as much as a starter.

Only scoring 1 star as there's no options for zero! Waited over an hour for our food. When it eventually arrived my sons burger was raw. Absolutely shocking and dissapointed. Please don't waste your time and money at this establishment. Awful. Please avoid. Had to argue for full refund.

Perfect place for after a walk up Dartmoor. The food was excellent - highly recommend.Parking: Room on the side of the road. May get more difficult in high season.

Be warned - they serve vinegar instead of cider here. Should have realised it would have been awful when we were given a blank look by the barman when we asked for it. Avoid.

A wonderful little pub overlooking the lovely views of the moors when on a sunny clear day.Parking is limited and beware of the sheep! Though they run away if you get to near.Inside the bar has two beautiful open fires which one has been burning for many years. You can sit in the bar or chose to sit in the dining areas or outside if weather permitted.Well decorated with old pictures of the place on the walls.Nice simple menu that you order up at the bar.Had the cheeseburger with came with chips and a small salad. And sticky toffee pudding with custard. The chips were yummy! But I didn't think burger was worth it's price. The pudding was nice although the top was slightly burnt so could taste that.Food is nicely presented. Staff was friendly and helpful.I would come back again as its a little treasure of a place.
