Pubs in Beaminster

“We were so pleased to find this pub within walking distance of our holiday cottage, and we went three times to eat there. There was a warm welcome, the owners (Bob and Jenny) were lovely, they couldn't have been nicer. The food was good, home cooked and interesting menu choices too. Beautiful gardens.Best to book if you want to eat there. All in all, a treat!Vegetarian options: Interesting veggie choices - liked the sweet potato chilli and the mushroom and brie wellington.Parking: About 12 spaces.”

“We have been lucky to have been able to visit Beaminster at least once a year for past 6 years. When here, our favourite "watering hole" is The Greyhound.Food is homemade...good and substantial and we believe kitchen uses local ingredients when possible.I'm a lager drinker and this is served well...and understand beer drinkers enjoy the choice of ales.Landlord and staff are attentive providing good service in a simple, rustic country pub.No intrusive music or TV... simply old fashioned conversation.Dogs are made welcome, as are tourists...it is well worth a visit.”

“Visited for lunch on a Saturday with my friend and I cannot fault any of it! The service was quick, friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and great value for money. Half of the space was cosy and relaxed with sofas and a log burner whilst the other half was a beautiful, rustic dining space with stunning views across the Somerset countryside!”
