Great tasting coffee. Quiet when we visited but staff were helpful & friendly.

We went to the black cactus as I was craving a cheese toastie. It’s cosy inside, if not a little dark, and my toastie was lovely, but looked lonely with no crisps or side salad.Still one of the nicest independent coffee shops around

Constructed in front of you!... Delicious veggie New Yorker "pastrami, Pickle and Cheddar on sourdough and a slice of heavenly Pistachio cake with dense, sweet nutty frosting - scrumptious! Defo worth a visit!

We like to come here with the hounds after a walk from the Milldown or the trailway. A lovely little independent place, at its best when the weather makes sitting outside an option as it can get quite cosy if you've got dogs with you. Coffee is the best in town. Staff very friendly and work hard to keep the place clean and tidy. Definitely the place to go for a coffee if you're visiting town!

Popped in with friends for drinks & cake. A wide selection of both to choose from and we had coffee, hot chocolate & milk shake, which were all delicious. The hot chocolate & milk shakes were presented & decorated beautifully! The cake was also delicious & very generous in size. We loved the idea of the doggy photo board & would love to come back with the doggos.

Nice little place, dog friendly and high quality. On the expensive side but what isn’t in the early 20’s.

The coffee is nice hence two stars but just be aware that the staff seem to be doing an experiment to see how indifferent/ impolite they can be to customers before losing their jobs or their customers. So far their experiment is achieving results as they have lost me for good.

Dog friendly, human friendly and really friendly.Couldn't be any further from a cactus. This place is fantastic. They have a fantastic menu. The drinks were amazing. We're coming back next week for lunch!!Parking: The parking is close by and there is plenty of it. Paid is closest and free is just a 3 minute walk along the river away.
