My friends and I arrived at unusual time of 3:30pm on a Saturday afternoon and despite the place being a little empty the staff were friendly, inviting and helpful. A really unique place with great food options and wonderful craft beers. Would definitely go again when we are in the area. Thanks for making us feel so welcome and for the superb service.

Lovely interior, nice food & interesting beers, plenty of parking & not overcrowded. 5 " walk to town trough the blue bridge.

Popped into the Alpine Bar. £6.50 for a pint of Fursty Ferret!! and it was ice cold! Apart from the rip-off price, surely as a brewery, they know that real ales should be served at between 11 and 13 degrees C !!

Absolutely loved this brewery. They have a mezzanine with comfy chairs and a nice downstairs for eating and drinking. Really tasty beers and the Mac and cheese was amazing. Lovely crumb on top. Perfect for a stop off but wish we could have stayed longer. There’s also a nice shop where you can take some of the tasty beers home with you.

Check the events as there are some great activities for kids. We went for an amazing play & dress up event for our toddler. Shipped him off and went for an English breakfast which was exceptional. Love the ambience in the bar with old machinery everywhere, like a museum. Check it out!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly

The Tap Bar is a nice place to visit, located in a former malthouse with seemingly original ironwork and architectural features. There are plenty of artefacts relating to the brewing of beer on this site for a few hundred years. The beer is good/acceptable - it's a volume brewer, after all - and the staff are all very friendly.

Lovely decor of the history of Hall & Woodhouse. Great selection of beers and soft drinks and coffee. My only suggestion for the menu is to do a smaller portion. Fish and chips looked great but too big for me. Many pubs now do a smaller size meal. Nice shop aswell with a great selection of drinks, merchandise and local chocolate.

Such a Shame this place isn't buiser but it's very expensive. The beer is six pound a pint. They should do some happy hours for people after work. There is no reason why the locals don't frequent it more but I can only put it down to the pricing.

Many years wondering if Badger would have a pub on site. First time visit today just for a beer - what a great ambiance. The industrial/loft feel is worth a visitWheelchair accessibility: Lift and ramps from car parking to bar on lower level.
