Selection of new/roast potatoes, cabbage, carrots, swede, green beans, parsnips, leeks in cream sauce. Absolutely amazing will definitely return. So good forgot to take a photo!!”

Pubs • “Had a fabulous evening at the Cricketers pub today. This pub has apparently recently changed hands. The new owners were absolutely lovely. Great drinks, friendly staff and super dog friendly!!! We didn’t have dinner, but we could not resist trying the dessert special of the day which was a “brownie doughnut”creation which was absolutely to die for!!! Little doughnut balls filled with soft gooey brownies! Heaven!”
“We went to the White Horse for a family lunch to celebrate my Brothers 59th wedding anniversary. As I lived locally, and my two brothers and partners lived out of the area, it was left to me to organise a venue… We have been for meals here for several years, and it’s always worth another visit, but what makes it special, are the staff. Such fun, but also professional, and they made the whole meal an extremely lovely experience. Thank you.”
