Lovely little cafe - their baker, Rhe, is fabulous! Her as a person as well as her stunning cakes. It was pure luck that I stumbled across her business page (shared by the cafe) - so after being let down by two other bakers, Rhe literally came to my rescue! She is an absolute magician with the deadline she had to create my daughter's first birthday cake (especially with it being so close to Christmas!). She is an extremely professional, kind and talented individual. The cake was absolutely exquisite (she nailed the brief!) - it immediately brought me to tears when I collected it. After getting it safely home and having a closer look - the attention to detail was impeccable and it was evidently made with so much love and passion. It was a HUGE hit with my family who have already started spreading the word about her business as well as wanting to use her for other, upcoming occasions.I cannot recommend Rhe enough for anyone seeking not just a cake, but a work of delicious, edible art. She as a person radiates warmth and will do everything in her power to create the perfect cake for you. Thank you, Rhe, for making my daughter's first birthday unforgettable - you are an exceptional baker and I will be returning! Xx

If you are looking for a meal with a difference, then this is the place to eat. Small and rustic but warm and friendly. A variety of options on the menu for all tastes and dietary preferences. Staff all engaging and the head honcho busy at the stove. I had a campfire ? breakfast pan. Coffee was good too. Thoroughly enjoyed our food and would recommend. Thank you

This was our second visit and, again, we were very pleased with our food. The food is freshly cooked every time and the seasonal menu is fantastic. Both my husband and I left feeling full and content. Flavour and quality produce are obviously key to the brilliant chefs style of cooking. I would absolutely recommend the Yellow Bicycle to others. Friendly staff too.

Awesome little cafe away from the main street. It's just a little up the main street and You'll see the prominent Yellow Bicycle. My brother and I were walking up that street to look for a lunch option and we were hoping not to have to do Subway for lunch. We took a look at the menu at the window and we saw a Campfire Pan dish that seemed intriguing. We were there just after the lunch rush and it smelled amazing so we decided to pop in to try it out.We each got the Campfire Pan with sausage and it came in a small saucepan with thick slabs of artisanal bread and a nice ramekin of delicious butter. While the butter was amazing to have with the bread, the real star is the pan with a delectable mix of beans, sausage, tomatoes topped with an egg and charred just a bit for texture and flavour. Dipping the bread in that saucy goodness was the best way to engulf the bread and I found excuses to get as much of the butter on the bread as well because it was just that good.We also got the spiced potatoes - forgot what it was called unfortunately. It got scarfed down pretty quickly between us as it was delicious. The Campfire Pan is a fan favourite for 8 years so definitely worth a try!

I've lived in Blandford on & off since 1976. I love food! However I really love a breakfast! I've never had a full English cooked breakfast this exacting, it was, in my opinion simply outstanding, fresh produce, clearly well sourced ingredients; this will now become a permanent fixture as our guilty pleasure, luckily enough, we only live on Whitecliff Mill Street around the corner. Thankyou Steve, obviously one can see you have won awards for your chef' mastery.Thankyou so much!Team Chunk

A crowd of 11 of us descended on this place on a Tuesday morning looking for breakfast, we had a bit of a wait as so many of us but the food was glorious, beautifully presented an lovely coffees/drinks too. Thankyou for putting up with our large group with no notice, I’ll certainly be back if we’re in the area again!

All ok little disappointed as this was classed as the number 1 place in Blandford. The good , food is all cooked fresh, popular with families , on the downside , long wait for food due to it being cooked fresh , should have been warned wait was almost an hour . Portions tasty but small

First customer of the day. Cold plates. Hot sausage, hot mushroom, cold tomatoes, bacon and spinach aswell as the egg. Coffee was instantly semi warm. Not the warmest welcome. Daughters breakfast was the same. Shame for the price. Didn’t bother complaining. Didn’t seem worth it for the look of the chef. This was the second time. Won’t be visiting again

Delicious food. It took a little while to arrive, but when it did, it was worth it!

It’s rare to find cafe’s offering the entire menu in chid portions, and this is a massive attraction to myself and two children who are so so bored of seeing the same kids options like pizza or chicken nuggets. Anyway this was the second visit to the cafe and like the first time the food was delicious. However the service from one of the waitresses was pretty poor, she moaned when we ordered milkshakes saying that she had made so many already. On top of that, both she and the chef had an open conversation about how they don’t understand why people order milkshakes on hot days, and that lemonade is more refreshing. This made us feel very uncomfortable, like we had inconvenienced them some how. On the menu it stated the milkshakes contained ice cream, yet they were both room temperature when served so maybe this isn’t true. When our order came we had two portions of the same size one for me and one for my son, I mentioned this as I was concerned I would be charged for two adults portions, the chef said it’s nearly impossible to make child portions of the specific dish and that they had never served a child’s portion in the past, despite this dish being served to my son the last time we visited as a child’s portion! He did agree to bill one of them as a child’s portion though.Later when I asked the same waitress for some water she seemed like it was an inconvenience to her.I would like to add that the young waitress with the brown hair was very polite and professional and clearly understood how to treat customers. My message to the staff is that maybe you should discuss your opinion’s later when no customers are around or better yet remove the items from the menu that you don’t want to serve. Perhaps the waitress who seemed so dissatisfied with her job should look elsewhere to earn an income, or get some hospitality training.Final thought: I’m torn if we will return or recommend to other families.
