Love this place, great food and lovely service. Pictured is large cod and chips, the crispy battered cod is delicious.

Last time I came here I was not impressed and again NOTHING HAS CHANGED!! A long long time ago this place had really nice staff, really good fair priced food, nice decor...Now rude staff, overpriced food, and a refit of the building and firing staff and recruitment of staff who care about what they are serving to customers! Harry Ramsdens used to be famous for fabulous fish and chips Now its famous for ALL THE WRONG REASONS so I've now decided to go to a local fish and chippy up the road by the spar shop better service better fish and chips and none of these empty apologies from Harry Ramsdens customer service/ Head office!

Very disappointed as we expected H/Ramsdan to be good. Fish dried up & cold. Small portions, prawn cocktail tasted fowl. Don’t bother!

Very nice place with sea view, well cooked food, not greasy and pleasant on the palate. I'm not a fan of fish and chips but it wasn't bad for my taste ?

Tbh, I wouldn't generally eat here as I would go to other options. However my aunt loves Harry Ramsdens. Personally would say the chips were quite dry but price wise wasnt so bad (£4 for a large portion). Felt the individual salt and vinegar sachets were counter productive when we are trying to reduce waste. Pay terminals are a bit clunky and the fact the tables were removed in the takeaway area make it feel less personal. In/out service.Parking: There is lots of parking near by but at the time of writing is £3.30 ph.Kid-friendliness: Great for kids as they have a child menu and it is fast.Wheelchair accessibility: May need help getting through the main door.
Lovely place for a hot meal with our grandson, on a chilly afternoon at the pier! Always get a great pot of tea here too!

On the sea front and we got to sit at the window, which was really nice.

The food's tasty, the people working here are very nice and you can see the sea outside the beautiful windows!Kid-friendliness: Many chairs for children
