I understand it’s hard to find a good decent fish and chip place but this was really bad. The fish they gave was still cold inside and they gave the ones that’s pre made. Didn’t think they would serve that, at least a fresh battered fish would be great right. But no super horrible We told the staff the fish wasn’t cooked properly, he touched it with his bare hands and said no look it’s all cooked and wanted us to eat the same thing again by giving it back. We said no and they wouldn’t give us a refund either. Horrible horrible

We ate here every day and found the menu suited our needs and good sized portions. Good service as well. Reasonably priced.

Their flavours where immaculate especially the double scoop frappé & vanilla ice-cream.Also the texture of the cones where amazing,they weren't chewy they are easy to bite.I haven't tasted any ice-cream like this in years.The boys working didn't give us any problems at all but those prices are were totally worth it. 16/07/22

Never met such rude staff would avoid at all costs.Asked for a ice lolly, after rumbling around for ages the women handed me a DEFROSTED twister! When asking politely if we could have a frozen ice lolly she grunted and said “it is what it is…” !!!!Having worked in retail for several years i was disgusted by this sub level of customer service. Surely asking for a clean, frozen ice lolly isn’t too much out of her way. Boscombe has just lost a returning customer.

Purbeck ice cream is the best around and there's usually a good selection of flavours. So delicious. I wish they'd post their opening times. Always craving a cone on a summer evening but don't know if they'll be open.

Visiting Boscombe recently I fancied a lunchtime snack after walking along the promenade. Stopped off at the pier and saw the Reefside Takeaway alongside the shop and ice cream store at the entrance to the pier. They had quite a varied menu including specials on a board outside. I chose scampi and chips from the main menu. I'm only writing this review because the food I received exceeded my expectations!! The scampi was delicious and the chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside - just as you would expect. Very impressed with this from what looks like a small outlet - I think there is more to this take away than meets the eye - they obviously take a pride in what they serve. Reasonable prices, and drinks available too. What more could you want for a delicious lunchtime snack to eat on the pier or on the beach!!!!

It's cash only :( You can get Purbeck ice creams, soft drinks and slushies from this booth. It gets very busy during summer season. Good ice cream though.

Lovely Purbeck Ice cream. The lady who served me did a really impressive mixed slushy for my son, not just dumping half of each but nice stripes. Never seen that before. Then I had double scoup, and she put the hardest on the bottom and softest on top. The ice cream was lovely.
Two young teenage girls serving. Both looked like oompa loompas they had so much orange makeup on. Did not know how to smile or even be polite. Owners should sack them both.. one of them had a face like a smacked arce. Ice was good though
