Purbeck ice cream is the best around and there's usually a good selection of flavours. So delicious. I wish they'd post their opening times. Always craving a cone on a summer evening but don't know if they'll be open.
Visiting Boscombe recently I fancied a lunchtime snack after walking along the promenade. Stopped off at the pier and saw the Reefside Takeaway alongside the shop and ice cream store at the entrance to the pier. They had quite a varied menu including specials on a board outside. I chose scampi and chips from the main menu. I'm only writing this review because the food I received exceeded my expectations!! Their flavours where immaculate especially the double scoop frappé & vanilla ice-cream.Also the texture of the cones where amazing,they weren't chewy they are easy to bite.I haven't tasted any ice-cream like this in years.The boys working didn't give us any problems at all but those prices are were totally worth it. 16/07/22
