“Absolutely stunning!
We came here to celebrate my partner’s birthday and it could not have been more perfect. The service was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. A wonderful relaxed environment whilst eating some of the best food around. You can truly see how much care and pride goes into both the food and the experience.
Every dish we ordered, crafted with precision and care. The tuna we had literally melted in our mouths.. we were blown away. I’ve eaten my fair share of sushi at many places, but this was by far the best. Not only the best sushi, but one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
We left feeling genuinely impressed and already can’t wait to come back very soon. Highly recommend!”

“Fish and Chips is my favourite meal. The quality of fish and chips plus service is the Gold Standard for the UK. It is brilliant, either as a takeaway or eating in. Pot of tea, bread and butter plus fish and chips, you can’t beat Chez Fred.”

“I've struggled to find a decent fish and chip shop that compares to Grimsby fish... this is the best one by far! Reasonable prices too.”

“We had the most wonderful lunch today. 6 oysters, then the hot shared plate. Absolutely delicious, thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything you could imagine, beautifully cooked. All staff were friendly and helpful. Such a treat. Would definitely recommend !”

“All the reviews here stated the need to pay in cash not card and this was spot on. There is a cash point across the road so no drama if you don’t realise until arrival. There’s a good selection of what you’d expected to find in a chippy and the scampi and cod were particularly good! The chips were also very good although the price for a large bag at £4.20 was rather strong.Overall food was good, made to order and would eat from here again.Parking: Parking on the main road or on some of the side roads”

“This is the second time I've been, I went first time last year on a visit, I returned this year and revisited, by far the best fish and chips I've had anywhere, he makes the food made to order. So it's not waiting on the window for ages you see him batter up and fry the fish and chips there and then fresh like uhh. All food is halal. He uses groundnut oil which must add that flavour. Make sure to visit. The owner has told me it's 100% Halal, everything is halal. You can eat this without adding any sauces, reminds me of what fish and chips was like back in the days with just salt and vinegar.”
