Thought we would use anIndependent cafe, we bought 2 breakfast, not very good. Stale bread used to make toast, overcooked hard egg and tinned mushrooms. Heard lady on next table saying that her bap was stale and man on table in front complaining his cake was stalePerson who owns this cafe should use fresh produce daily. Unfair on customers who pay good money

Such a lovely little cafe! I often visit here for a decent breakfast or lunch and am never disappointed. A small, local cafe in Bridoort this place offers an excellent variety of snacks and small meals from simple sandwiches up to full on breakfasts with lots of choice in between. Seating is limited inside but there is often space to sit in the mid morning sun outside and chat with friendly.passers by. All food is freshly made/prepared and served by smiling, friendly staff who go out of their way to be helpful. Lots of tasty cakes and treats are on offer if you fancy something light and the cakes are homemade deliciousness! Eat in or take away options both available and prices are very reasonable for a small, independent, local cafe.

I had eaten here a few times without issue..on this occasion it was very disappointing..my wife had a bacon tomato and mushroom sandwich..the bacon portion consisted of half a rasher..my wife was too embarrassed to say anything but I returned 5 minutes after initially leaving and spoke to the member of staff who had served us..Her response consisted of 'Sorry about that' and walked away..if you are going to have a bacon sandwich I suggest you confirm how much bacon will be in it first as half a rasher between two large slices of bread is very poor value.

Lovely cafe with fast and friendly service. Sit in or out or takeaway. Lovely breakfast baps and plenty more available on the menu. No WiFi but a good phone signal (at least at the window seat). At £2.25 for a tea and £3ish for a wide selection of coffees very well priced.

Great hidden treasure of Bridport!! The staff are lovely, and the sweet treats are to die for! I had a Sicilian pistachio cannoli & cappucino, and for a moment I felt I was in Italy! Cafe seems to only source locally!

Returned recently to this warm cosy café on South Street for first post-pandemic visit. I really enjoyed my full English breakfast. Good ingredients, well-cooked, friendly staff, reasonably-priced. Pot of strong tea with it was certainly very welcome. Recommended.

Talk about overrun, never seen Bridport so busy. The cafes we would have been happy to visit were full. Those with plenty of space we would not go in if paid to do so! Then we spotted Coffee Bean in Market Street (?) This fitted the bill perfectly. Great Cortado and Pasta de Nata. The wonderful Portuguese Custard Tarts. Perfect. Hayling Seagoon

Never knew this place existed until I started working right next door!!! Not only do they do takeaway lunches they even hand delivered to our office. Great service, great coffee I have one every time I am in the office and great lunch. I have only sampled the jacket potatos but no fear I will be back for more. Its great to have a local business who put customers at the heart. Small independent places usually make me nervous as I never know whether they will be grumpy or polite but I have to say if you haven't been you won't regret it!

We often go in for a pot of tea and sandwich. The sandwiches are awesome - tasty bread with plenty of filling. A meal in itself.

Stopped for Breakfast and a coffee The Breakfast bap was wonderful and being able to choose you own fillings is good. Yoc could actually taste the coffee not weak and milky. Would visit again.
