The best pasties
We tried the rolls and bread whilst on holiday. Both items were amazing and stayed fresh for days .
staying in Charmouth again as come from the area. Went to the bakery before & was impressed . On this occasion there was 5 of us and the lady was rude from the beginning as the family I was with didn’t decide their order quick enough .
I asked for milk on the side with my coffee which was frowned upon making me feel uneasy. When the coffee did arrive I accidentally spilt the coffee over the side due to arthritis in my hand . I was made to feel embarrassed by the lady and very uncomfortable. No sympathy or understanding for what happened .
We spent £30 but still charged extra for the spilt coffee which I wouldn’t have minded if
the mishap had been handled better .
Not impressed will not be using again . The next day used the cafe over the road & perfect friendly service !!!
Maybe some lessons to be learnt for the Cornish bakery !!!!
Only popped in for a bacon roll so no long review.
Friendly lady working today. Got a cream tea and 2 sausage rolls.. delicious! ?
One of if not the best pasties I've ever had, and I have tried a fair few.
I ordered a crab sandwich. However the quantity of crab filling was laughably small.
Really nice small place. A Def must if in the area
Good selection cakes, sandwiches, breakfast rolls plus coffee ☕️
Tempted to try this placerather than the cafe on the main street by the lure of a fresh crab sandwich on homemade brown bread, and it was delicious. Well worth the small walk up the lane. Two very nice and well made coffee's. Only strange thing was we asked for both our sandwiches on the brown bread but told twice the tuna came on a white roll, eventually we got the stubborn lady to check but she still did not really like it as they might not have enough left to make crab ones. Still no idea where her thinking was on this. This aside very nice place sat outside the bakery in the sunshine enjoying a small unique place

This is a gem of a place with great croissants, cakes and bread. Everything I bought here was great value for money. Please use cash and support this quality, independent baker.
A lovely friendly little tucked away bakery that is a must visit for us every time we’re in Charmouth. The breakfast rolls are so tasty!
Just bought & eaten what could possibly be the best rock cake in the world! Delicious ?
Fresh eggs bread and cakes. Good breakfast bap options too
We were staying on Newlands Holiday site and the bakery was a15 minutes stroll from site. We walked down for bread cake and local eggs (recycle boxes if possible or take your own)for breakfast back on site The staff were friendly and helpful. Great bread and cakes and especially good to support local businesses.
