I absolutely refuse to take my older wife here as she will think the queueueue moves too slowly but I think the staff here do their best in satiating the needs of a large cafe . I had a very good soya flat white while my old girl had some crown work carried out at the nearby non NHS dentist. The place is welcoming and warm and despite the Welsh cakes being drier than the Atacana Desert ?, I will return for future coffee needs. Hats off to the young staff and the free coffee grounds that kill slugs .

Great place for a drink, I also loved the toasted tea cake, would recommend.

Good. Good coffee and stuff. Spacious. Interesting. Middle class heaven !!
Very busy but couldn't keep the queue flowing, drinks not piping hot and run out of marshmallows for the white chocolate and didn't offer to change the order to something

Hmmm that was disappointing. I stood there, by myself, for what felt like a long and uncomfortable time, waiting. Two members of staff chatting to each other, the other apologising as he was wiped off his feet serving others. The young man finally asked the young woman to kindly serve me which she did with very little enthusiasm and no apology. Not a great experience guys ?

Went in Costa first and it was so cold and lacking in atmosphere that we turned around and left, and walked up to Coffee #1 instead, and how glad I am that we did! Amazing atmosphere, wonderfully funny & welcoming staff, and the coffee’s delicious and very reasonably priced.Plenty of space and comfy chairs, dogs welcome, really lovely, we’ll be back!Kid-friendliness: Easily accessible for pushchairs, plenty of space so that kids don’t get in everyone’s way.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide, flat entryway and plenty of space for wheelchairs or pushchairs.

Writing this as I'm in coffee 1 , ridiculously long wait about 15 to 20 minutes waiting in the queue just to get served. Staff very slow , seems to be like this in all coffee 1. Only came in for a quick coffee and drink...

The coffee is good. The wait for service to order is ridiculous. We stood in the queue for 25mins to order while the manager faffed. Later as we drank I watched a lady wait 17 mins for a takeaway! It’s not a 1 off. I have had this here frequently. Going elsewhere…..
One of the best coffees in town
Wheelchair accessibility: Good access
Well positioned. Friendly service.
Lovely Coffee, Great Staff, Cosy
