Lovely food, with great vegetarian options. We were lucky to get a private room booked so worth asking! Great ambience, slightly small restaurant downstairs so worth booking in

Service was dismissive and not at all friendly. Atmosphere ok. Loud music playing from the kitchen. The place needs smartening up. However the food was very good all apart from the linguine de mar the sauce was tasteless. Fish was cooked well. Finger bowl I used for my starter of muscle I was ask if I could use it again for my main not very hygienic. It’s only a bowl of water with lemon! Change it, that’s call service. Would we return again definitely not.Parking: Car park opposite which payable . We had the last place. Unfortunately we choose market day to go to the restaurant so maybe on another day there would free parking

Party of 10 all ordered but had to wait while phones being answered had to ask for menus. One of the party did not receive their starter by the time we could get a member of staffs attention most had finished although order was cancelled they sent out and slammed plate in front of the party. Mains arrived 1 missing waited a long time attempts by staff to hide fact they had forgotten. A pet hate why serve hot food on cold plates ? A little more customer care and attention would have been appreciated as some of us felt ignored, not made to feel welcome and no one checked to make sure Happy with food etc

This is a great place for seafood. The pizzas are nice too - they have a pizza oven. I recommend the catch of the day. It comes with a nice butter sauce and a nice selection of steamed veg, slightly different than usual, which was quite lovely. If you like mussels, the seafood spectacular is the one to go for. I also enjoyed the fish soup. Attentive service and nice atmosphere. It’s nice either for lunch or dinner. I’ve found, if I just walk in, I won’t be guaranteed a table because it’s quite popular. Best to call ahead and book.

Absolutely perfectly cooked sea bream main, and delicious dessert! Would highly recommend. It's a favourite for my parents so I'm glad they took me here whilst visiting ?

Popped in to try this restaurant as we were passing and it was raining. So glad we did! Staff were friendly. We sat upstairs. Husband, adult son and myself. My son and husband ordered pizzas. I had the tagliatelle with ham and cheese. All meals were delicious. Reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere. Son opted for a dessert too, he loved it. Highly recommend. Would return, if we visit Bridport again!

A fantastic restaurant, with great options for different dietary requirements and amazing food and drinks. We booked for a group of 18 back in July. The staff were very kind to accommodate for such a big group as most restaurants in the area would not take us on.A private room was set up for us upstairs. It was a great space and the table service was great. The food was fantastic, with delicious vegan and gluten free options. The staff were also incredibly receptive and helpful to a member of the group with celiac disease.Every member of the group loved their meal. The bar staff also made amazing cocktails too.Cannot recommend the Olive Tree enough. For the quality of the food and drinks, the price was really good.Thank you again for a great night!

Second visit. Great hit and bad miss, I had the Spectacular which was amazing, my daughter had the Carbanara which was really bland (maybe verging on the bad and should have gone back). All other dishes we ordered were good. Pizza and ragu pasta. Service was ok.

We had a lovely meal here! We were booked to sit outside but the manager found us a space inside, as she did for another family! Food was absolutely delicious and the service was brilliant! A definite must if you are in Bridport! Thank you!!

Just walked in for a coffee and the aroma of food cooking was inviting. So I had the moroccan prawns, husband had catch of the day and our grandson had carbonara. We did also have our coffees and hot chocolate. The food was out of this world and the service was second to none. Thank you for and amazing meal and service by friendly staff.

Came here for dinner with my parents who live in the area. We sat upstairs so missed out a little bit on the buzzy atmosphere but we were really well looked after by the staff. Food was great, especially the Spectacular, 3 types of fish plus mussels and prawns in a delicious broth. Pastas were also lovely. Food short wine list too .

This restaurant went above and beyond for my fussy vegan daughter and gave her a meal she really enjoyed. The specials were delicious and the fish perfectly cooked. Really couldn't fault the place. Friendly efficient and delicious. Highly recommended. Thanks guys.

It’s all TRUE!… the food is wonderful. Welcome good, staff friendly but professional. We were is the upstairs corner room which was lovely - about 6 tables. The place was full on a Wednesday in the summer hols - we booked the day before. All dishes were excellently presented and tasty. The seafood/fish ‘Spectacular’ lived up to it’s title well. My wife’s Persian meatball starter was tasty. Appropriately priced. Good quality value
