Disappointed with the stay, definitely overpriced for what it is, furniture and rooms need upgrading, furniture is worn-out, rooms needs a paint. Plus being charged to use the pool when it should be included in the price. Will not be recommending.

Stayed in the touring park - Supreme Pitch, and found the toilet block, dirty, and not cleared every day, and the grids in showers, blocked with hair, When I complained staff were grumpy, and not very friendly, Staff members did comment that the brush for sweeping the water away, was no good, it was filthy dirty. The swimming pool + facilities were very good. when booked asked if we could be located by the shower block, as my cousin was disabled, nowhere near the block. 2nd night, a row broke out behind us in another caravan, 1.30am in the morning, called the office, message stated to go to the front door, emergency, no onside patrol, for any assistance.

Just got back from a 2 night stay and we were in one of the Superior Motel Rooms. The room had a double and a twin room with a small kitchenette which had a microwave, toaster, kettle and a small fridge, this was perfect for our short stay. Just a little gripe though, a dish cloth would have been useful so that we could was the dishes. Unfortunately the double bed mattress was a basic mattress which we found uncomfortable but as it was a short stay it wasn't too much of a problem. The Holiday park itself looked well maintained and had great facilities and all the staff were very friendly. We didn't eat while we were there but we did sit hand have a drink on the patio area which was lovely. We used both the indoor and outdoor pool and they were well maintained and the staff we lovely, we visited twice during our stay but if we were to have stayed longer I'm not sure we would want pay to use the facilities everyday. Thank you for a lovely stay.

When we arrived we were slightly worried about what we had read on trip advisor… but when we got here everything has been amazing. When we got here we were shown up to a pitch and we’re told we could look at another pitch if it wasn’t suitable but it was fine. It’s a in good location and the park is well looked after. There is an indoor and outdoor swimming pool which you have to book but we had no trouble booking in on the same day. This does however cost £3.50 each but Personally I don’t see the problem in this. There is entertainment going on in the bar in the evenings. I read a review about not been able to hear the bingo in the conservatory but we had no trouble hearing it. I can’t say that there’s been any noise in the evenings just usually chatter but compared to other sites we’ve stayed it was super quite. The only downside is the lack of toilet roll in the toilets however this didn’t spoil our holiday. I would definitely recommend this site to others and would make your own mind up before reading what the other trip advisors say.

We read reviews before booking and they were mixed. The campsite is on a steep hill, our chocks were not high enough to level caravan so we had to put blocks of wood under it. The gravel pitches are barely big enought for a caravan, awning and car.sitting outside of your van on a chair it was hard to find a flat bit so you werent sitting on a slope. Glad we were not on the grass pitches, a frame hanging over the hill. The ladies' toilets were not clean, not cleaned enough times through the day. We enjoy bingo but as we have dogs we had to sit in the conservatory to play. Caller was nice and clear but didnt always hear calls from there and had a few times called the next number. They could do with a member of staff standing in the doorway while he is calling also it was very noisy in the conservatory. Camp site very noisy at night, some nights gone 11 and people still playing loud music and shouting. We enjoyed the area but wouldn't go back to the campsite.

Just back from a 3 night stay in a pod, view was ok and check in friendly The pod itself was very smelly there is no air flow inside would benefit from some air vents to remove the mould and damp smell , which is also now all over our clothes, the single mattress must have come from a skip as our 9 yr old now needs a new spine from all the springs digging into her back . We watched how the pod next to us was cleaned on one day, a young girl walked in with a spray bottle and small cloth, 2 min later it was ready for the next person, no wonder it stinks and feels dirty , not even the glass or floors were cleaned . Having to pay for the pool was a liberty considering how much money we paid (close to hotel price) On summary had it not been very expensive could have overlooked some faults

First impressions very popular site and friendly staff. reception staff very welcoming and resolved our problem swiftly . Was very disappointed we weren’t able to use a shelter or gazebo. Been camping for 24 years and have never come across this on the sites we been on . Our tent hasn’t room for cooking inside luckily weather mostly dry . The only thing that needs addressing ASAP is the toilet and shower facilities we were in the yellow field and I never once went to a clean toilet or shower. we used the one near reception on the last day as they seemed a bit cleaner . Dog owners need to pick dog poo up soon as . ( we had poo at the back of our tent ). Overall a lovely campsite with good facilities.

Poolside apartment was filthy.. We were only there for one night so not bothered but honestly more effort should be made. Mould on the headboard and contact lenses on the wall and coco pops on kitchen floor.... I was annoyed to be charged for using the pool as this was not made obvious when booking... But Something to check. Next time.

We spent 4 days here last week. Initial impressions were very good. Great location and facilities. We stayed in a pool apartment, basically a chalet. It was a bit small for 4 of us but we anticipated being outside. It wasn't very clean, most areas had cobwebs, and was quite damp. We had difficulty drying off both pool and bath towels. Our clothes felt damp too. We understood the concept of paying for the pool, unfortunately on one occasion we payed for an hour but got asked to leave after 45 minutes. Meals are very basic, simply meals but pricey. After our second dinner, I witnessed a very young youth preparing food, I assume all food health and safety guidelines had been undertaken by him. The more senior 'chef' licked his fingers twice within a few minutes, we never had any more meals there. The apartment is located where people come and go from the restaurant and entertainment, bit noisy at times. The young children playing later at night were running down the back of the rooms and started to bang on the back window and then bang on the front door. They were also kicking a ball about outside our room. The ball hit the door too. We politely asked them to refrain from playing there but they knocked on the door again and ran off. No adult supervision at all. Our granddaughter did enjoy the circus tricks and the pool. Tents did look very close together which seemed concerning regarding safety. I voiced my concerns when we booked out but there was no interest at all. Looking at other reviews, it seems staff will rectify cleaning issues if you complain, but why isn't there a standard level of cleanliness anyway?

Unfortunately we stayed in the black zone which was probably the worst part of the site to stay on . Food was out in a flash and the kids meals really were cheap and nasty especially the pizzas. Adult meals slightly better but not very good. Pool good but extra. Overall we paid £180 for the pitch with no room around it ( we ended up sitting on the road !) £120 for one night's food in the restaurant £32 for an hours swim . £ 332 for 2 nights ....rip off

Caravan cleanliness to be desired, cobwebs, dust on tv and bathroom blinds , leaky toilets. Served frozen Paninis from the bar , cost £14 for a family of 4 to go swimming for 1 hour , lovely staff however feels like its all hands on deck more than staff being experienced in their role.Newlands has been our family holiday destination for years but unfortunately this is our last stay, Great upgrades to pool area , but dont loose sight on the small things like cleanliness and value

We were so lucky to upgrade to a caravan given the terrible weather forecast. The staff were so helpful in changing the booking & letting us pay the difference between our original tent booking. The caravan was modern, very clean, had all the equipment you needed for a wonderful family holiday. The pool & facilities were excellent & any time we asked for assistance, the staff were fabulous. Thank you!

We arrived on a Thursday for a short four day stay in our caravan and to surprise our daughter and family on their holiday. Booking in was a doddle and was shown to our pitch by the staff. We had a premium pitch, which was hard standing and fully serviced and faced out towards the rest of the park and the rolling hills. These pitches are quite sheltered by trees and just wide enough for caravan, awning, and car to fit in. The facilities are really good with bar, restaurant, indoor and outdoor pools, plus a Spar shop for supplies. We did find the meals and alcohol a bit on the pricy side, but it is what it is. The pools are on a booking basis, so they don't get too crowded. The site is only a short walk to the beach and Charmouth village. Lyme Regis is either a short bus ride or car trip, with the bus stop being right outside the gate. All in all, it was a very nice stay in a nice location with good facilities.

The clubhouse. Closes at 10.30. Could stay at home in any town or village and get kicked out later than on your holiday you've saved up for. Good news is the place is so devoid of atmosphere you're OK with leaving. Music quieter than a 1970s transistor radio in the kitchen whilst you're in the living room. Any live entertainment provided at the same volume. Bright lights ensure it never feels cosy or like a night out. Toilets. Cheap toilet rolls that disintegrate ensure that every cubicle floor is covered in paper and looks awful. Add to this toilet rolls being put in that are too big and are impossible to use. Unbelievable. Ferile kids also wreck the place at times but that's not fully the owners fault. Although they could put up notices that their parents will be evicted, or provide some kind of security. The rest of the site is fairly decent. Pitches fine and shop fine. Amusement arcade poor though. Tiny and half of machines not working. I wouldn't return and I'm surprised people do. Easily fixed though. Just listen to this review.

£5 pound for a pint of coke . Food £17 pound for fish and chips and the value is terrible for the size of the meals so if you do come here on hoilday be warned if you eat here don't expect good value
