Eight of us went here for the Sunday Carvery. The food was lovely, a good choice of meats, roast potatoes and Parsnips were really well done. Carrots Sweet cabbage and cauliflower cheese and not forgetting Yorkshire poods and tasty gravy.Good service and great Beer.Would highly recommend, only reason I gave a four, not a five was cold plates. This makes the food go colder quickly, please Warm the plates then next time I can give a well deserved 5⭐️

Just popped in with some friends for a pint. Lovely pub, nice atmosphere, excellent staff. Although we didn't have our dogs with us there were others in the pub. We will definitely go back the next time we visit West Bay.

Went in pub to use the toilet I did ask. The man behind bar said yes. Got moaned at by the so called land lady. I did say to her where are the toilet around here none across the road as they were shut. I've said that I only come here a couple of times a year only cost a penny to use a toilet.

Absolutely disgusting manners here, was down with the guys on Rideout and only ever been to this pub/hotel once in my life today, and got had ago at but the landlady something about her paying water and electric rates, well on a building that size you pay those bills every month anyways so dunno what you got to complain about really, grow up!!! WONT ever go in there again trust me!!! Miserable git.Where she expect bikers to use the toilet or just pee on the street outside yea, jeez it's called being a human being, shudnt even matter it don't cost a penny to be nice to someone you don't even know!!!
We had a family meet up at West Bay and thought that with 12 of us, getting lunch on a Sunday might be a problem. However, we were made very welcome, had some lovely food and great friendly service. We'll be back !

Had a lovely meal here, with a friend who has come to stay. We ordered a mix of things off the ‘small plates and sharer menu’ and it was delicious. The Thai fish cakes and the king prawns were to die for. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and excellent service. We completely forgot to tip the waiting staff as we were engrossed in conversation, but will be heading back soon for more fish cakes.

Visited around Xmas... had vegan risotto, was amazing. Parents happy with pies and steak. Good service... :)
