I visited The George with my parents when we were passing through Charmouth and it didn't disappoint. The food was great and the staff were really friendly - especially the landlord Dean! Thank you for a lovely visit.

Two of us called in for our first visit, after a beach walk with dogs. We were given a warm welcome by friendly staff, served a really delicious lunch with a drink before a real fire. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We can certainly recommend this place and hope to return.

Excellent family orientated pub with good beers priced sensibly in this day and age and a good lunchtime menu. Lovely landlady who made us and all who entered while we there very welcome. Middle of half term week decked out for halloween very well. Very happy to recommend.

used this place while on holiday for one meal and the pub was dog friendly and even offered meals for my dog. The staff were so friendly and even payed alot of attention to my dog. So one quick pint turned in to dinner and a revisit of 3 more times during the week and cant wait to go back and try again next year.really is a pub worth a visit with real ales on pump and a covered area to eat (with or without the dog) and friendly staff that make you feel welcome and a huge garden with animals
Very lovely pub. Always come here when down for a few days. Staff always friendly and food always good. Menu is a bit limited but they’ve tried to ensure there’s a good variety. There is a kid’s menu and dogs are welcome.

Very nice plentiful food on a Sunday evening. Masses of chips with scampi. Bramley apple pie and sticky toffee pudding gorgeous. Nice pint of Tribute. Polite staff, quick service. Nice clean pub.

The food was good. Ordinary pub food. But the pub had a vibe like they wanted you to eat the food and leave. Like bums on seats. Rotating. I understand this in a fast food restaurant but not in a restaurant. Hope that they re think this and be more warm and welcoming.
