Fantastic steak, 10oz rib-eye cooked to perfection, nice wine, great cocktails, lovely liquor coffees, will definitely be back, highly recommend.

We visited for steak night. £39.50 for two steaks, sides & wine. Delicious, great value and fantastic, welcoming, friendly service. They also do the most delicious dessert, everything including the ice cream & chutney for their cheeseboard is home made.

Great steak night, sirloin or rib eye, good portions and nice carafe of red wine. Cosy atmosphere with log fire.

A very busy Sunday lunch but the staff were efficient and friendly. The food was very good and even the nut roast for us vegetarians was better than most - moist and tasty.

The Pymore Inn is one of our local pubs and has been a favourite since it was taken over and refurbished by the Electric Pub Company. It’s especially great for summer drinks and food, and has the best garden of any pub we’ve visited. When we were looking for a venue for our 50th birthday party, The Pymore was top of our shortlist and we decided it offered everything we wanted. Our party was a resounding success, with nearly 100 guests and fantastic late-summer weather. The Pymore team led by manager Alex and chef Jim delivered an outstanding event. The food (brisket, pulled pork, sides) was exceptional - thank you Jim!We’ve had dozens of positive comments about the party and we’re already thinking about the next one.A big thanks also goes to the Electric Pub Company’s Mark Banham for his support in the planning and execution of our event.

First visit to this pub, made very welcome by managers and locals and arrived at the start of the weekly quiz night so of course had to join in. Managed to eat a very tasty meal at the same time, maybe why we came last! Looking forward to returning and sampling some more of the menu.Thank you for your great hospitality.

First class ! Great pub, exactly the sort of pub that you want to find on holiday. We've been before,a couple of years ago, that was good too. Very friendly and attentive staff,Good selection of beers, a lovely menu, (not too big) we had the Spatchcock chicken, wonderfull, the cheese was good too. We will be back to sample more.

Stunning beer garden, often with live music and outside bar in the summer that can accommodate lots of people, plenty of sensible parking too. Superb staff and Alex was attentive and knowledgeable about the drinks, actually paying an interest to what you might like in a beer or wine before offering advice, a very welcome change to most pubs. The best thing for me is finding a pub that not only has decent beers on tap but has plentiful choice too! Brilliant. So many pubs now don't care about the beer, well The Pymore does care. Can't wait to eat here soon. Cheers, Alex and team! Matt (with the French bulldog). ?

There were 7 of us visiting for Sunday lunch whilst on holiday in the area. Overall this was a really nice and relaxed experience with good food, good beer and in a lovely traditional inn. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful and the local beers delicious. The food was very well prepared and presented. The only thing stopping it being a 5 for us (if you could award 4.5 we would) is the fact that three of our party were vegetarian and the menu was quite limited in choice with just one main course. On our visit it was beetroot wellington which two of the group thought was delicious but, one of the party does not like beetroot. The chef did off a bean and vegetable dish but in the end, she opted for just the Sunday roast vegetables. She did say it was delicious but, it would be better if there was more choice. That said, I totally get that for some places, they are unable to offer an expansive menu so it’s a tricky balance. Anyhow, we did have a lovely time and we would definitely return if we visit the area again in the future.

This pub was a good find to accommodate our party of 13 +2 dogs. Food arrived hot and all at the same time which was good and staff was very attentive. The only improvement needed would be a wider selection food on the menu.

Lovely spot, great garden, plenty of umbrellas and shade but Landlord was a tad rude to a fellow guest when they enquired about food; the prices are quite steep and that incident deterred us from eating there.

Just the most magical evening in the garden with beautiful lighting and a fabulous firepit that blazed all evening. An exceptional seasonal menu with perfect recommendations from the super attentive bar and waitering staff, eye contact and smiles - wow, how rare! Our doggies at our feet, we felt to welcome and spoilt. But don't tell anyone else, we want this place kept a secret!!!
