Visited with three other long time friends for an evening at the 29029 after a couple of years away. Superb food, first class service and a fabulous warm and relaxed atmosphere. Given the fact it was two years plus ago since we last visited because of covid etc, it was very impressive that they remembered our favourite wine, hence we had two bottles. We were crammed in like sardines, I’ve never been so uncomfortable in a restaurant. Could barely hear ourselves talk as the people either side of us were practically sat on our laps. Very good food, but do order extra rice with each dish as the amount that comes with it is a child’s portion. The guys who work there are really sweet but too rushed off their feet for a one minute banter that you’d usually get at a Nepalese / Indian restaurant. Lacked the feeling of being a valued customer, we were just punters they wanted in and out. Not a “special occasion” kind of place.

Very high quality food. Friendly staff and calm atmosphere. Some of the best food I have ever eaten.Vegetarian options: The paneer makanwala was the best thing ever. It was served with rice. The strawberries made a lovely touch. There was a good selection and they also cater to personalised food as everything is made fresh.

Exquisite food as always. I find it hard to look past the Welsh lamb dishes, by far the best lamb dishes you can find! The service here is the best I have ever experienced, all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I can't believe I left it a year between visits. Will definitely be back sooner this time!
