Monday Sept 26th, managed to catch them just before lunch closure at 2pm.Excellent portion of Chips (not greasy), & 2 x Pea Fritters, that they cooked to order. Massive baseball sized Fritters, that are basically a tin of Mushy peas in a light batter.Friendly staff as well.Highly recommended.

Pleasantly surprised, the batter was lovely and crispy, the fish incredibly moist (most importantly, not overcooked). I'm used to paying £12+ for fish and chips but this place is much cheaper so therefore expeptional value for money.Almost forgot, the chips and delicious.

A bit surprised by the rating given our meal, it's definitely not my idea of a 4.7 out of 5 chippy! It's a bare bones operation - no forks or napkins. Would try the other options first.

Amazing chips! Best I've found anywhere in Christchurch - fresh, cooked to perfection, and generous portions.Large cod was good - nice and chunky white fish with no bones! The batter was a little stodgy for me, but still very tasty.Parking: On street parking close by.
