24 Church St, ChristchurchSuch a good location, minutes from the Priory & Quay. A friendly welcome and pleasant decor. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. The delicious food was freshly cooked, very tasty and great size portions. We had Steak frites-not a thin steak but large, tasty and cooked as requested. Also Moules frites, cooked in a creamy white wine sauce. It’s my favourite dish and can honestly say it was the best I’ve ever tasted, the sauce was creamy and well seasoned. (So good I spoke to the chef to compliment him on his skills). We both had good sized portions and had Dorset Apple tarte tatin and strawberry pavlova for dessert.

The menu choices were amazing (usually I can only find 1 or 2 things but I could’ve chosen anything!) and the food was incredible too. I am most impressed with how they catered for my son - gave him colouring, a plastic cup for his drink and suitable crockery for his lunch too. It’s always tricky to eat out with a toddler but this was a dream!

We were greeted with a very warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble.
Food was beautifully presented, plentiful and delicious.

My parents are pescaterian and requested a mushroom tom yum soup (instead of chicken and prawn) and I was assured by the lady who took my order that this could be done. When unpacking the take away I discovered that we had been given chicken tom yum soup which was disappointing. The rest of the food was delicious and everyone enjoyed their order. Arguably the best Penang curry I've had yet. The food was ready and waiting, hot and piping exactly when I was told it would be. The restaurant looks so lovely too would love to eat inside (we have a dog hence why we got takeaway).

95 Mudeford, ChristchurchFantastic food, great service + lovely view of the bay. We asked to be moved to a front row table when one became available which was no problem for our waitress. Very pleased with our lunch visit - finished off soaking up the sun on the comfy chairs in the garden area.

397 Lymington Rd, Highcliffe, ChristchurchI love this cafe it makes delicous high quality coffee with insanely good food i got the creamy garlic new forest mushrooms on sourdough with a fried egg for 14£ and when i first saw the price i was like ok it is expensive but i heard great things and i wouldnt come here a lot so i was like ok but when i took a bite the flavour was insane the mushrooms with the sauce on toast with the egg was insanely tasty the quality was very good and tasty i really liked it and the staff were really nice i also got an iced coffee for 4.50£ which is normal and the coffee was nice and good quality the brand they use is bad hand coffee which i really like so i would def recommend a visit for lunch

189 Lymington Rd, Highcliffe, ChristchurchHad a Sunday evening meal here with friends. Cruzocampo beer was a good pint for me. Food was very excellent with a good choice from the menu to suit all tastes. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our food, and rounded off with a very good desert souffle.
Lady that served us, was bubbly and full of character, and provided a great interaction with us all. Made our evening, so thanks for that to her.
Recommended if you are in this part of the country.

The Sandpiper, 97 Bure Ln, ChristchurchMy Wife and I visited The Sandpiper today 14th Oct 2025) and we just had a Mains (watching our waistlines and pennies these days) and it was excellent. We both had the Mixed Grill from the Flamingo Grill and value for money was unbeatable. We asked that our appreciation be passed on to the Kitchen Crew. How on earth they can plate up Chicken, Steak, Gammon and Sausaae and an Eeg and Chips all at the same time and present it all beautifully cooked and hot is too good for words.. The Abbot was also perfect. The Atmosphere was fine - reserved - but being Locals we know it gets noisier when the football etc is on. It's just a matter of picking your time. Staff as always are lovely.

It was very exciting for them to then eat their own creations.

In the spring summer you can sit outside in a small courtyard gravel garden. In the winter it is cosy with throws on the chairs. Although small it is homely an we are made welcome.Only downside lovely clean toilet is upstairs.It is a old building.!! Not suitable for disabled!!But otherwise great place to visit.

95 Mudeford, ChristchurchI experienced one of the best nights’ sleep I’ve had in a long time after enjoying the spa facilities, although they do look a little tired in places. The location is perfect to stroll along the harbour. Breakfast, I would especially like to thank Raphael, who was very welcoming and clearly conscientious in his role. He went above and beyond to accommodate a picky eater’s breakfast, which was greatly appreciated.
