24 Church St, ChristchurchSuch a good location, minutes from the Priory & Quay. A friendly welcome and pleasant decor. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. The delicious food was freshly cooked, very tasty and great size portions. We had Steak frites-not a thin steak but large, tasty and cooked as requested. Also Moules frites, cooked in a creamy white wine sauce. It’s my favourite dish and can honestly say it was the best I’ve ever tasted, the sauce was creamy and well seasoned. (So good I spoke to the chef to compliment him on his skills). We both had good sized portions and had Dorset Apple tarte tatin and strawberry pavlova for dessert.

Upper Deck Bar & Restaurant
95 Mudeford, ChristchurchGreat quality real home cooked food. Its so rare nowadays to find a real kitchen where the food is actually made in house by skilled chefs. The only thing they don't make is the bread, butter and ice cream, our server told us.
The seafood was tasty and fresh, the portions were all a good size and everything was delivered with great service from our waiter Phil. The restaurant has nice booth seating, a reasonable wine list, and even the desserts were well presented and served. This is a far cry from the chain restaurants that dominate our high streets and is probable one of the best restaurants in the area.
With plenty of parking, a small lounge area, as well as views of the bay during the day and a terrace for the summer, its easy access and genuinely great food makes it well worth a visit.

We were greeted with a very warm welcome, nothing was too much trouble.
Food was beautifully presented, plentiful and delicious.

The menu had varied options and all the dishes were great and I was amazed with the great job the chef done in a small kitchen.
We enjoyed it just as much as Tapas we’ve had in Barcelona!

397 Lymington Rd, Highcliffe, ChristchurchI love this cafe it makes delicous high quality coffee with insanely good food i got the creamy garlic new forest mushrooms on sourdough with a fried egg for 14£ and when i first saw the price i was like ok it is expensive but i heard great things and i wouldnt come here a lot so i was like ok but when i took a bite the flavour was insane the mushrooms with the sauce on toast with the egg was insanely tasty the quality was very good and tasty i really liked it and the staff were really nice i also got an iced coffee for 4.50£ which is normal and the coffee was nice and good quality the brand they use is bad hand coffee which i really like so i would def recommend a visit for lunch

15-17 Salisbury Rd, Burton, ChristchurchBrilliant place, I stayed one night in Goldilocks and it was such a gorgeous room, so many lovely little details, all the facilities worked the bathroom was brand new. Nice attention to detail with the tea tray and complimentary drink! Breakfast was delicious too. The pub is big downstairs and when i arrived (about 4 in the afternoon) it was a bit quiet and as a solo traveller freaked me out a wee bit. But it got lovely and busy later with a great atmosphere. SPECIAL SHOUT OUT to the staff!! They absolutely made this place, especially Alessa, an absolute gem who made me feel looked after and so at home! Lovely :)

The Sandpiper, 97 Bure Ln, ChristchurchMy Wife and I visited The Sandpiper today 14th Oct 2025) and we just had a Mains (watching our waistlines and pennies these days) and it was excellent. We both had the Mixed Grill from the Flamingo Grill and value for money was unbeatable. We asked that our appreciation be passed on to the Kitchen Crew. How on earth they can plate up Chicken, Steak, Gammon and Sausaae and an Eeg and Chips all at the same time and present it all beautifully cooked and hot is too good for words.. The Abbot was also perfect. The Atmosphere was fine - reserved - but being Locals we know it gets noisier when the football etc is on. It's just a matter of picking your time. Staff as always are lovely.

They stretched the dough and chose their toppings, which they were allowed to apply, liberally.
It was very exciting for them to then eat their own creations.
The staff were very kind and accommodating.

It was our the first time eating at Masala bay and we was very impressed with the food and great professional service. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. For anyone thinking of dinning here you will need to bring your own alcohol with you as we did an all round great evening.

Had an evening there recently as we stayed at the Travelodge across the road, it was busy and vibrant. No food.

10 Church St, ChristchurchThe Snug is a lovely, old, characterful building with seating downstairs and up. We enjoyed a particulry nice cup of coffee here. Whatever blend they're using, it's much smoother, rounder flavour than many we've had - both decaf and normal.
The cake offerings (made in house) were very good. I particularly enjoyed the Lumberjack Cake - a moist, dark date and apple cake topped with toasted coconut that is almost like a pudding.

I have recently made this my regular after trying many of the others in the area. I like their menu structure, with lovely options for families or just for 1. The food is always fresh, piping hot and carefully packaged to transport home. I believe they also deliver, but I always like to go and watch them cook in their clean, organised open kitchen.
Their homemade spring roll is epic, along with tasty sauces, tender meat and lovely crunchy freshly cut veg. Their fried food is always tasty, they must take pride in clean fresh oil.

In the spring summer you can sit outside in a small courtyard gravel garden. In the winter it is cosy with throws on the chairs. Although small it is homely an we are made welcome.Only downside lovely clean toilet is upstairs.It is a old building.!! Not suitable for disabled!!But otherwise great place to visit.

We waited over 30mins for a panini although our 1st coffee was served right away so had no coffee left to wash it down. 95 Mudeford, ChristchurchI experienced one of the best nights’ sleep I’ve had in a long time after enjoying the spa facilities, although they do look a little tired in places. The location is perfect to stroll along the harbour. Breakfast, I would especially like to thank Raphael, who was very welcoming and clearly conscientious in his role. He went above and beyond to accommodate a picky eater’s breakfast, which was greatly appreciated.
