Now known as Walkford Cafe. My wife & I had the best full English breakfast we have had for years and very reasonably priced too. Looked after by two friendly young ladies we were able to sit inside with our little dog. FE Breakfasts are served until 2 p.m.

You got to go try there home made Sausage Rolls WoW ? ? there the best I have ever tasted could possibly do with a bit more pepper in the meat, but that was easily sorted out. Just wished I lived in the area I would be in there every single day. What a gem ? of a cafe

Best breakfast ever, proper haggis, square sausage, tattie scones and black pudding and real thick doorstep slices off bread. Definitely going back again. Service excellent and staff really friendly.

Great ingredients, a shame the good quality toast was pre coated in spread. I won’t return simply because I was a nuisance spending money, unbelievably the coldest and most bitter service I’ve ever witnessed.

Was doing roadworks down the road and had a walk up to get some breakfast. Had a really good breakfast sandwich and treated myself and my boss to a jumbo sausage roll for lunch - we both agreed its the best sausage roll weve ever had and the biggest... Very reasonable prices for the quality too.

Brilliant food, fantastic quality ingredients. Never fast service but you get what you wait for, and it's worth it. It's not a chain, and the owner takes real pride in his work.

Very strange guy running the show ,had one table in use other wise empty, went to sit down to be asked,what are you doing,ummm I'm hear for breckfast table was taken to the lady chatting to owner I apologized and asked where to sit in an empty café extremely awkward, was told to wait,ended up leaving won't be returning Very bad vibeEdit the owners response is farcical,he need to maby try engaging with his costumers that enter the cafe not stand in the middle of his cafe nattering away and ignoring anyone else that walks in , I had no idea he was seating the lady and was pretty embarrassed when rudely informed I was taking her seat ,someone needs to go back to hospitality school ,and learn if your are rude to your customers and by some of the other reviews your poor staff there not going to stick around,by the looks of some of the other reviews it's not the first time

Walked in and was 'greeted' by the rudest bloke I think I've ever met so walked straight out. Customer service at its lowest.
Fabulous range of Celtic themed breakfasts including haggis, white pudding and tattie scones. Very reasonable prices but you'll have to be patient as it can get very busy. Well worth hanging around for though!

The food and waitress were lovely, however the chef/owner was very rude and unwelcoming. Which is a shame and ruined the experience completely. We also felt so uncomfortable with the way he spoke to his staff. The waitress is a true gem for working there and tolerating it. After reading all the reviews it seems like a lot of customers have also experienced, which in a way makes us feel slightly better that we’re not the only ones!

Walked in to a very rude staff member/owner. Was not welcoming at all and could see a pile of cooked sausages sat on the side waiting to be re-heated, uncovered and it looked quite unhygienic. Me and my partner walked straight out, will not be eating here.

They guys that owns this establishment is rude grumpy and can't seem to handle more than one customer in his establishment at one time He is also horrible to his poor staff Don't waste your time
