Standard ales & a pleasant lady serving. The football was on so quiet busy compared to some of the places I visited that day in Dorchester.

Nice quiet pub with cosy atmosphere. 2 bars and a skittle alley/function room.

Should probably tried this pub before but the name suggests a modern wine bar sort of place. It is actually an old traditional pub with a fairly minimalist modern make over which I think works fairly well. I was there at a quiet time but the other customers were friendly and welcoming. The beers were fairly standard national brews but there was a reasonable choice and they were in good condition. There is a skittle alley and a long courtyard with outdoor seating at the back

First visit to this pub in many years. We were allocated the skittles room to hold a meeting, and we felt welcome. The beers were well kept here and drinks reasonably priced. The food is fine at the price charged - one tip - my chilli looked a bit anemic but tasted great - it could have looked much better with the addition of a spoonful of passata.
