A cosy cafe in the park very close to Dorchester. An excellent park to walk your dogs or take the children (great play area).I stopped by to have a full English breakfast, but there was also a wonderful selection of cakes, scones etcThe place is dog friendly.Dietary restrictions: A number of gluten free cakes.Parking: Beware Saturday mornings are busy due to the local Park Run.Kid-friendliness: Busy play area & zip wire.Toilets close by too.

Just had the best ginger and cherry flapjack. Didn't get a picture, who thinks about taking photos when there's stuck good food?Dietary restrictions: Catering for GF coeliacs.

Staff are okay, not overly friendly, but not not nice. Always quick service, reasonable prices, and nice hot cafe style drinks and cake/ pastries. It's not a fancy place, it's a casual place to chill. Good with a child/ baby. And good before/ after a walk round the great field. We got a hot drink each and a croissant.
Nice cosy café.Good coffee and cake.Lovely friendly staff.Thank you.

We had cooked breakfasts here today, they were hot, tasty and the staff made a couple of small changes we requested which was appreciated. The lattes were very good too. Dog friendly and nice outdoor seating area.

As a family of 3 we visited because of the location. However after husband attempted to be served THREE times, all of which he was ignored we fed baby and left. Visiting after peak lunch hours the cafe wasn't full, we were able to get a table outside and there was four or five members of staff available. Management seem very stressed and disorganised as another family complained and a clearly incompetent, perhaps new member of staff was left on the till whilst others looked on bored from different areas. Slices of cake was also about all the food on offer despite an extensive menu. No physical menus on offer either we had to read the one on the board near the entrance which is right on top of table that was occupied by others who didn't seem happy with the intrusion. Very shocked and highly disappointed. Won't be returning and recommend any of the cafes in poundbury instead.

Really nice little cafe! I had one of the nicest carrot and coriander soups I think I’ve ever had here! Really nice

We went here mainly because of the playground which was just about ok. The cafe was ok also. The atmosphere was the big let down. Kids serving not knowing what to do not having any skill in the industry. Some were there just for the sake of being there.
