Kate and Kevin were amazing last night. Kate was very efficient at checking us in without a booking and sorting out rooms for us at short notice. Very kind, very considerate and really efficient. Rooms brilliant, comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Excellent breakfast :) thank you!

Stayed for one night in Nov 23. We use Premier Inn regularly both for work and leisure. Our usual experience is a reasonable standard, good value for money, and a good night's sleep. The experience at the Dorchester Premier Inn was very different. The standards demonstrated in Dorchester are fundamentally different in almost all respects to elsewhere. On arrival, there was no staff member to check us in. No problem, so we tried to check in using the self-service machines. Both were broken with paper signs on saying so. We then spent 15 minutes walking around the hotel, trying to find a member of staff to check us in. I eventually found one who said that he would book us in, but we were disturbing his break. He reluctantly booked us in.During the usually peaceful night, there was a continual stream of people banging past the hotel room and making noises that kept us awake until the small hours. In the morning, the weather was terrible, so rather than mosey into town for a bite to eat, we elected to have breakfast in the hotel. After paying and asking someone to wipe one of the dirty empty tables, we sat down. However, there was no coffee as the machine was broken. No orange juice, no continental breakfast, no plates, the place was a mess, and the cooked food wouldn't have looked out of place in the local nick. Utterly appalling. So I asked for a refund, which I was grudgingly given by one of the staff. We were overall really disappointed. We have had such good service in the other Premier Inn hotels. I made these representations to customer service and was told that they would offer some training to staff.Would check the feedback on any Premier Inn I stay at in future. And would not go back here ever. A real shame.

The premier inn dorchester is a modern premier inn located very close the town centre, the train line to London and brewery Square. The rooms are satisfactory and the hotel decor fresh.Unfortunately the hotel is clearly understaffed to quite sever levels with limited access to check in staff and restaurant staff who are over worked and highly stressed making the quality of service very poor.Furthermore during our recent stay, at breakfast my wife caught the restaurant lead (possibly manager) swearing at me under his breath when I arrived with her and my daughter (under 5) for breakfast, though I didn't directly hear this, I would note the managers behaviour was incredibly twitchy and clearly someone who was overwhelmed with the situation. I would not blame him directly but clearly the understaffing issue for causing a high level of stress and unprofessional atmosphere. After that we ate breakfast away from the hotel.I find it odd that the hotel requires you to leave a note on the door and request at reception that you want your room cleaned instead of many other hotels which allow you to leave a note on the handle that tells house keeping not to clean the room - this would be alot simpler, again with the lack of staff at check in we had to knock on the door of the porter and ask him to notify housekeeping as well as help another guest who had been waiting a while to access staff to discuss a seperate issue. For this hotel to get to better they need more staff

They don't even have labelled spoons for breakfast so you are mixing pork with vegetarian options, unlike other placesF-in disgusting.

Kelly is outstanding (the lovely Asian girl). She looked after us very efficiently during our short stay at the hotel. Very clean, very tidy, very well managed and we shall definitely return.

I asked if I can park to their parking. They said yes and have issued me a receipt and paid for it. When I went to the parking area, there were no regular parking space but has 3 disabled parking available. I went to the reception again to tell them my problem. The reception person said that it is ok to use the disabled parking, then I parked. After a week, I got a notice letter saying to pay a parking fine because I parked to one of the disabled parking. £100!Worst service! Now, Premier Inn Dorchester, if you are reading this, may I please request a letter from you saying that you gave me permission to park to the disabled parking. I will use this as a proof that you let me park.

Fantastic location near to Brewery Square - I slept with my window opened and was not disturbed by any noise I had a greet stay and would come back. 1 min from the train station so very easy to travel around.

I got a great night sleep, the room was cosy and the bed super comfortable. The reception staff had left me a terry’s chocolate orange for my stay too which was adorable and made my day. (Thank you!) My room was at the front of the street, but I didn’t hear a thing all night.
