Comfortable, non rushed restaurant. Waiters are very friendly but not overfussy. Will help when needed but won't pressure you to rush and finish your meal. Food is very tasty, even extra spicy dishes have flavour you can taste rather than just kill your taste buds. Before we moved to this area we had been going to the same Bangladeshi restaurant for 25 years. Joy Ferndown is definitely on a par. Non licensed but can take your own drink with no corkage charges. Strongly recommend

I had a takeaway bit annoying they don't take card I fortunately live near a cashpoint. Food was delicious especially the chicken.

The food and the staff were both very good. The atmosphere however was not. Joys is too white and bright, a bit like a dentist waiting room. They really need some dimmer mood lighting. Overall experience was good.

Faultless. Excellent food and service. Loved being able to take my own choice of drink. Read complaints about the 12.5% service charge can’t understand why as the service and food was worth well more. Will be returning and recommending
