First Plaice in my opinion is still the best fish and chips shop in the area. I use the one near Tricketts, the one in Westmoors and the one at Parley Cross as a comparison. The only improvment I would suggest is crisping the chips up more. Tonight mine looked quite anemic. Tbh the only place i've found does decent chips is the forum frier in Blandford.Aside from that - I had cod. Batter decent and light. Very polite . We bought for 5 adults and 1 child. The food was very well cooked and not greasy. The service was quick when you take into consideration it was all cooked to order. Very good and polite service. Would recommend to anybody. Thank you First

Best fish n chippy dinner ever .Passing through on way back to London with family, stopped here for a spot of dinner. Absolutely blown away by the quality, portion sizes and efficient service.Can safely say the best fish n chips we have had anywhere !! and believe me I've tried alot of places.
