Disastrous mocha and hot chocolate!It's fine. I am not after free stuff but I did try and tell her they were bad but she wasn't really reacting. I added more cocoa to one and it was still bad. They really needed to be all taken back. My sons hot chocolate was like hot milk and the mochas were just coffee. I know it's not easy with staff and she was perfectly pleasant. I would suggest full fat milk is better anyway and a decent hot chocolate powder. I would expect more from baboo as your quality is good so at £11 for 3 hot drinks I was expecting something decent. Sorry. It's the first bad review I have ever done.....the cobb end.

All the ice cream is gluten free and they have gluten free cones. Its also absolutely delicious ! Great service too.

One of the best ice creams ever! Lovely fresh taste and flavour, and a very generous helping. Ate them inside to enjoy the lovely view and avoid hungry seagulls. Yum!

This review is actually for the Baboo kiosk on the beach at Weymouth. I was there with my siter-in-law and her two children. My niece, nephew and myself had the cruffle which is a croissant toasted in a waffle machine served with gelato, whipped cream and a choice of sauce. I had the chocolate gelato and salted caramel sauce. Wow such an amazing dessert. The hot butteriness of the toasted croissant with the rich chocolate gelato, cream and salted caramel sauce is a marriage made in heaven. The two young staff who served us were brilliant too, so helpful and friendly.

Great place, very tasty gelato (maple and walnut flavour is delicious!!) , great coffee , cakes and had a very tasty frozen elderflower Mojito one evening!! Staff all friendly and so helpful , didnt try the croffles ..need more days in Lyme !!☺️

The Gelato here is amazing! Highly recommended maple and walnut, so good!! Coffee very tasty , locally made cakes fab , need to return soon to sample milkshakes and croffles!! Also had elderflower frozen mojito which was fantastic evening treat . Staff so friendly and helpful!! Massively recommended to try this place when in lyme regis!!

I love ice cream and sampling different 'artisan' and local ice creams when I travel. I had Baboo Gelato at their ice own cream kiosk on the beach at Lyme Regis and also from an independent Kiosk in Seatown - there is a limited number of Baboo kiosks in this area of Dorset, including West Bay, and other outlets across the SW.. At £3-50 a scoop it isn't the cheapest (but many are this price in visitor areas) but the scoop was massive. The ice cream is top quality. Not sickly, sticky or over sweet but with intense natural flavours . On various visits we had Salt Caramel, Chocolate and Mint Choc Chip (not green as most MCC is). This gelato (ice cream made with more milk than cream) is made from top quality ingredients - organic milk from local cows that enjoy top welfare standards which are interesting to read about on the Baboo website. I would have happily extended my visit to sample all the flavours on offer!
Excellent ice cream. Truly generous portions, difficult to eat the ice cream fast enough as the heat was melting the ice cream fast.The double chocolate was really chocolately and the walnut and maple was studded with lumps of nuts and was delicious

We decided to grab my 6 year old son an icecream yesterday evening while he was throwing stones in the sea with his dad. On the way to him I was ambushed by about 7 seagulls who stole the icecream ?. I went back to the shop to grab another one and the guys who run the shop very kindly gave my son another icecream for free. How lovely! Not only was it amazing icecream but what a really kind gesture, something you dont see very often anymore.❤️❤️

The service was great, really friendly and efficient. We bought a selection of ice creams and a sorbet. The Elderflower sorbet was amazing! Considering how great the service was and how tasty the ice cream was, it is very reasonably priced. I would seek this place out next time I am in the area and definitely recommend it to others.
