1 Mill Ln, Lyme RegisThis was a great find. We hadn’t booked in advance but the owner was able to accommodate the four of us for an evening meal. The property has a lovely location and is comfortable, cosy and pleasant inside. Both the service from the very helpful and knowledgeable owner and food was excellent. She really helped us with our choice of food and wine. We all had fish dishes and they were all fantastic. A special place that I would definitely recommend.

Marine Parade, Lyme RegisCame here for a birthday celebration and the food was amazing. I had the bass and it was cooked to perfection.
Followed by the chocolate orange sandwich for desert.

The Town Mill, Mill Ln, Lyme RegisWe had a fabulous time here. It wasn't a special occasion but we felt very welcome, our wish for a quiet table was met and the food was excellent. Service was also superb on the night we were there; a slight error in delivering one of our dishes was met with profuse apologies. We don't often linger but felt encouraged to do so, having dessert and coffee. The aubergine is a must try!

7 Coombe St, Lyme RegisWe came in for an early dinner (5.30pm on a Sat) as it was a bit chilly outside to eat takeaway fish and chips on the beach. They happily accommodated a group of 9 is us and a dog, just pushing together tables so we were all together.
The service was really good with friendly staff, the food was all really fresh with puffy, light batter on the fish but the chicken goujons were a bit dry.
We had 3 children with us and they had some games and colouring crayons which kept them entertained.
It hasn't got nice views like some of the sea front places but was more reasonably priced.
When we left there was a nice buzz to the place. Would definitely go again.

Nettle Bank Lyme Regis 3RP, Lyme Regis Yawl Hill Lane Uplyme, Lyme RegisWe really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a rural location about a ten minute drive from Lyme Regis. Our ensuite room was very clean and comfortable and there is a good choice for breakfast. Our host Sue is lovely. It's like staying with a friend. We plan to return.

Marine Parade, Lyme RegisTraveled down from Suffolk for a holiday and see this on a Dorset Facebook so thought would give it a go when we got to Lyme Regis, staff were amazing, food was amazing and freshly cooked, 10/10 would definitely go back and would definitely recommend !!!!!!!

The Volunteer Inn
31 Broad Street, Lyme RegisWe stopped in late one Sunday night as our car had broken down and wanted a drink whilst waiting for the AA. The atmosphere was lively for a Sunday evening and the locals were delightful. The bartender made us and our dog feel very welcome and showered her with treats and pork scratchings. Thanks for being so accommodating, will pop in again next time we’re in the area!!

Marine Parade, Lyme RegisWent here for Dinner hoping to get a table without reservation and they managed to squeeze us in bar area and so glad they could as the food was FANTASTIC!
The Crab and Prawn Pasta was superb, as was the Goan fish curry both of which we highly recommend.
To top it off, the location is brilliant, right on the sea front!

On our stroll we came upon this delightful cafe along the sea front hidden amongst the many colourful beach huts. Two tasty toasties were ordered and I have to say they were delicious and very filling. Perfect place as well looking out to sea on a beautiful day and slightly tucked away from the raiding seagulls swirling along the beach in search of victims ?. Simple pleasures….Life is so good ?

Marine Parade, Lyme RegisAbsolutely loved this place. I love Thai food but my partner is more of a jacket potato fan. Well, guess what? They do both! Firstly the staff are so friendly, smiling and happy. We ordered a Thai green curry, jasmine rice and a jacket potato with cheese. Thai green curry was tasty and full of flavour and presented with a smile, and a smile on the rice too! Cheese lovers will love the portions. Excellent presentation and warm happy staff.

Serving hot and cold snacks drinks and must have beach essentials. Enjoy a stroll down to the town or a stroll to the beach, great location for exploring the local area.

10 Broad St, Lyme RegisThe best thing I've ever eaten. I bought a pecan tart,a Bakewell tart and the Gazillionaire Carmel. It was amazing. The shortcrust pastry base was perfect, plenty of butter, just the right amount. Not too sweet, perfectly balanced flavors. The Bakewell tart was something surprising. I wonder how they achieved that almond layer, delicately crunchy but not hard. I'll definitely be back just for these baked goods.

Mill Ln, Lyme RegisGreat selection of beers, particularly for someone who is a hop head like me. The Steady Habits NEIPA was juicy and full of hops?. Really nice Vibe sitting out in the courtyard area. Chatting with people over a good session of top-notch ales. Really like the well-priced takeaway options too. If you like a craft beer I would absolutely recommend paying a trip and getting some to take out with you. Friendly staff too???

The Old Black Dog
Lyme Road, Lyme RegisEnjoyed the tea shop yesterday afternoon. This was the second time we have visited and it was worth the short detour from the A35 on our way back from Cornwall to Hampshire.
Great service and lovely home cooked food.
Attractive tea garden or inside cafe. Free parking outside and dog friendly too.
It is always on our short list if we are anywhere near Lyme Regis.
