Marine Parade, Lyme RegisWe haven’t been to Lyme Regis for over 5yrs and had forgotten how lovely a town it is ?‼️. On our stroll we came upon this delightful cafe along the sea front hidden amongst the many colourful beach huts. Two tasty toasties were ordered and I have to say they were delicious and very filling. Perfect place as well looking out to sea on a beautiful day and slightly tucked away from the raiding seagulls swirling along the beach in search of victims ?. Simple pleasures….Life is so good ?

Poco Pizza
29 Marine Parade, Lyme RegisSuch a wonderful lunch; pizzas were thin based and absolutely delicious. The staff were all extremely friendly, attentive and very efficient. A very lovely atmosphere and we felt like we were very special guests. A 5 star service and excellent food.' Thank you Pocco Pizza for making our visit so memorable - we will be back!

Marine Parade, Lyme RegisCame here for a birthday celebration and the food was amazing. I had the bass and it was cooked to perfection.
Followed by the chocolate orange sandwich for desert.

1-2 Broad St, Lyme RegisWe had a super Sunday lunch - delicious food and even better service. We ate in the bar, fabulous views over looking the sea. One of our party was in a wheelchair and the venue was very accommodating and accessible.

Mill Ln, Lyme RegisHad a quick stop for a half while we had our lunch , wish we could have stayed for longer as the beers were lovely, glad to have been able to get take out cans. The Mary anning rocks Collab was ace! Really lovely setting

Came from Oxford for the lobster and it was amazing!
Delicious food and deserts, and a wine cart where you can match drink perfectly to your meal.
Separate huge thank you to the staff! Amazing service!

8-10 Bridge St, Lyme RegisOutstanding food. Lovely atmosphere on the terrace with the sun shining. Myself and husband had the smash burger and fries truly lovely delicious. Bonus for me as could have the gluten free option. Served by a lovely waitress (dark curly hair) sorry I did not get your name !. Lovely lady full of smiles and helpful she is a great credit to The Lyme Bay . Would definitely return and highly recommend.

The Pilot Boat
1 Bridge St, Lyme RegisWhen we arrived, being honest, we thought he had the wrong place and nearly walked away. If it hadn't been a busy Saturday we would have. We Booked a table for two and were greated with a packed bar, Alot of very young and rather obnoxious patrons and no obvious restaurant.
Fortunately we eventually pushed through and found a completely different story out back. Lovely restaurant, great food and great service. Really good with allergies and nothing was a bother. The front of house seriously lets it down as a restaurant and it isn't clear, but once you get in it's great.

7 Coombe St, Lyme RegisWe came in for an early dinner (5.30pm on a Sat) as it was a bit chilly outside to eat takeaway fish and chips on the beach. They happily accommodated a group of 9 is us and a dog, just pushing together tables so we were all together.
The service was really good with friendly staff, the food was all really fresh with puffy, light batter on the fish but the chicken goujons were a bit dry.
We had 3 children with us and they had some games and colouring crayons which kept them entertained.
It hasn't got nice views like some of the sea front places but was more reasonably priced.
When we left there was a nice buzz to the place. Would definitely go again.

The Old Black Dog
Lyme Rd, Lyme RegisEnjoyed the tea shop yesterday afternoon. This was the second time we have visited and it was worth the short detour from the A35 on our way back from Cornwall to Hampshire.
Great service and lovely home cooked food.
Attractive tea garden or inside cafe. Free parking outside and dog friendly too.
It is always on our short list if we are anywhere near Lyme Regis.

The Town Mill, Mill Ln, Lyme RegisSuper lovely restaurant with great atmosphere. Staff were really kind but the food....the food was incredible.
The manchego was the best I have tasted and the pistachio crème brulee was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back, thank you so much for a lovely evening

Nettle Bank Lyme Regis 3RP, Lyme Regis Yawl Hill Lane Uplyme, Lyme RegisWe really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a rural location about a ten minute drive from Lyme Regis. Our ensuite room was very clean and comfortable and there is a good choice for breakfast. Our host Sue is lovely. It's like staying with a friend. We plan to return.

23 Marine Parade, Lyme RegisWe have been in Lyme Regis/Charmouth twice already for holiday because of my fossil lover son. We have tried numerous restaurants and come to decision this is the best restaurant in the area. Maybe more expensive with £3-4 but it is worth the price. You are actually eating proper food! Like in 5star hotels. My son only wanted to eat here because they even serve the best tomato pasta penne. He refused the eat the other pasta somewhere else, and he was right:)

Picked up 10 minutes after ordering and arrived cold and chips chewy, burger also not good, phoned them had a very rude man on phone and said well bring it back then,I said no I'm not coming back out now and we have used you often and should take my word for it,I asked for a refund and he put the phone down on me, phoned him back and said how dare you put phone down on me, and was just shouted at, will not be using you ever again, disgusting service!!!!!?

31 Broad St, Lyme RegisIf you like old style spit & sawdust pubs (like I do) this is the place to go. Good service, staff were really friendly. Prices very reasonable, we just drank, no food. Toilets could do with some attention (air freshener at least) Dog friendly, the furry kind. On the whole, an interesting place to spend a couple of hours.

Seating areas are a little cramped but it all adds to the charm. Do book in advance during the summer or weekends. Do take your own alcohol. Soft drinks and water available ( bottled)

15 Church St, Lyme RegisThe salt and chilli tofu is salty and lightly spicy, very addictive. It's not crunchy on the outside and instead soft (but not chewy).
The bamboo shoots and water chestnuts come in a lightly sweet, umami soy(?) based sauce that's classic for vegetarian dishes at a Chinese takeaway. I think it could benefit from adding straw/paddy mushrooms as well for a bit more variety.
Lots of good options for vegetarian food and waiting time was around 45 minutes for pick-up.

The St, Charmouth, BridportThe fish was good. My fault looked the meat pie and the hamburger. The pizza dough was delicious but I would not recommend the pork belly topping. Go with the sundae instead of the shake if you're looking for a chill treat. My shake was basically chocolate milk because the milk to ice cream ratio was way off.

34 Coombe St, Lyme RegisHad sone amazing Chips on our visit last week, everything is freshly cooked so expect a bit of a wait but the chips had a lovely colour to them and were not greasy or soggy at all. Also had vegan sausages which were also fantastic. Would definitely go back next time im in Lyme Regis
