Excellent food and really lovely, friendly staff. Have been going to Lyme for years, such a shame we have only just found this little gem. Will certainly be returning ??

Really good breakfast, reasonably priced. I had the small English breakfast, which was more than enough for me. Would recommend. Lovely historic building.

Made to feel extremely welcome by Caz and Lydia. They also went out of their way to welcome our dog. Lovely food and great service. Highly recommend

We visited this cafe/restaurant on Friday 22nd September as there was little else available for lunch. We ate on the lower level. The food was relatively quick and good. Our only gripe was the fact they let dogs into the place. I like dogs, but not where food is concerned. There was a table nearby where a couple sat with a dog. The waitress whilst taking their order "petted" the dag, surely this is a breech of hygiene, I would like to bet she never washed her hands when she left their table! Once the couple had finished their meal, they got up from their table and as the dog got up to leave there was dog hairs flying everywhere! I'm sorry, but this is not hygenic when people are sat eating food! Very disappointed.

Stopped here planning to just have a cup of tea but instead got tempted into a cream tea and a cheese tea. Both were lovely, £8 for 2 scones, jam and cream and pot of tea, £8.50 for 2 savoury cheese and chive scones with cheese wedge and chutney and a pot of tea. Food was lovely, tea was good, staff were really friendly and welcoming. Had a sneaky look at other people's larger meals (fish and chips etc) and they looked good. Definitely would go again.

Wonderful spot in the region to have a quick lunch. Staff all very friendly and helpful. I recommend the gluten free scones and anything with the apple cider chutney. Thanks!

The little restaurant is in a superbly quaint, genuinely old looking building. The breakfast we had tasted great and was filling, with very nice tea. The service was friendly and swift. A great start to a day by the sea.

This is the second time we’ve been to this restaurant and we’ll be back in October on our next trip. Really lovely chatty, kind people and brilliant food. High five for Lucy, Jayne and Jan!

Lovely spot and great staff. Caz was friendly and efficient. Not everywhere in Lyme welcomes customers who just want tea / coffee in the morning but this place does.

Brilliant!Great service, very accommodating for my gluten free requests and lovely views. The breakfast was delicious and my boys ate everything on their plates! Can't wait to come again

Called in for a light bite on a Sunday and the food was lovely. The "cheese tea" - cheese scones, cheddar and chutney- was a lovely idea and sandwiches and paninis were very good.

We went yesterday for lunch on a coach trip to Lyme Regis . I had the lasagna which was amazing . My mum had a ham, cheese and apple chutney sandwich which she said was lovely. My friend had the crab sandwich which was also very nice . The service was very good and the waitress was very friendly . I’d definitely recommend this tearoom and give it a 10/10

Great food and prices. The plates are huge though!! A little cramped in terms of seating hence marked down for atmosphere. Great waiting staff
