It was a busy Saturday and we hadn't booked. They still found a table and the service, like the food, was really good. Prices ok too. Lovely meal.

Great food, great ambience and lovely decor.Had Road Beef. Was taken with how well the meat was cut and how delicate even though medium rare. I've not had rate beef that tender. My grandad was a butcher when he was young and he'd approve of the treatment of the meat. It is a skill that some places miss.Dietary restrictions: My daugher was catered for as she has a peanut alergy. Also we had cucumber to replace chips on her main dish.

Another lovely meal here. Although it was New year's day, and very busy, service was still quick and efficient and my starter of mushroom and truffle arancini and gournod catch of the day absolutely delicious. Never disappointed! We'll be back!

We have walked past here many times but never previously been in. Certainly a step up on other beachside pubs. Extremely good fish menu, just a little expensive.Busy and noisy, otherwise it would be 5 star ? in my opinion.

On a dark, damp November evening I was welcomed into the Harbour Inn for an early supper. In fact the kitchen hadn't opened but they were happy to seat me. I had the best fishcakes I have ever eaten - lobster and prawn. Everything served with it was delicious too. I will long remember the yummy garlic mayonnaise. The qttentive but not intrusive service was excellent. Highly recommended.

If you're thinking of trying the Harbour Inn, do not hesitate, go there!! I had the catch of the day, possibly the nicest piece of fish I've ever had (and I've had some good fish!). The special was a piece of Halibut that was so fresh and well cooked, I'm still thinking about it now, served with a tasty ratatouille and a pesto cream, I did not want it to end. When it did end, I "helped' the mrs finish her fish pie which, whilst not as good as my selection, was delicious. The Harbour Inn was unassuming, but delivered in spades when it comes to using quality products that are treated with appropriate care.

This is a little gem of a place we visited on a Wednesday evening in November and it was buzzing. There was a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We had been reserved a table in the rear of the property but were advised if we could wait 5 minutes we could have a table at the front of the restaurant which we were happy to do. We then had assistance to prop the table up as it was wobble (due to the slate tile floor) with specially prepared bits of cardboard. The food was delicious we had Wild Mushroom Soup and Cornish Mussels to start both of which were yummy. My daughter had the Ribeye steak for main and I, on the waiters recommendation, had the Fish of The Day which was locally caught Gurnard and again they were both yummy. Unfortunately we could only manage sorbet for dessert. I would highly recommend eating here.

We are lucky to regularly holiday in Lyme, mainly off season and we always book at least one meal at the Harbour Inn which never disappoints We like to sit outside on the terrace for a pre dinner drink watching the world go by We have a dog which they allow in the front bar when eating The staff are always friendly and the food is always enjoyable

Superb food and a very friendly service. Nothing was too much trouble and our meal was simply excellent catering for my food intolerance. Would highly recommend.

A busy restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Menu not big but comprehensive and 2 specials board one of which was vegetarian. My husband had the libe caught bass, which he declared delicious and i had the mushroom dhal which was excellent and an enormous size. Tables well spaced, our server informative and professional. We ate early evening but would recommend booking as restaurant was very busy. Highly recommended

We had a table booked for 8.15 on the night of the fireworks, we popped in at 7pm to see if it was possible to get an earlier table. The manager was so helpful in finding something for us even though they were very busy! We had the most amazing Rib eye steaks and a lovely bottle of wine. The service was also very good. We saw another table had the fish platters which looked great. The restaurant was lovely and we would thoroughly recommend eating here.

We stayed in Lyme Regis for a week and on the first night after a long drive we had reserved a table here - it definitely did not disappoint!! We enjoyed it so much we booked another table for the Saturday as well - my favourite was the fish pie and my partner loved the bouillabaisse - the wine was excellent too If staying in Lyme Regis don’t miss trying this place out!

Wonderful lunch! We both had the seafood platter which was the best seafood I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve eaten a lot!). Lovely location by the harbour, super friendly staff and quick service. We highly recommend eating here if you visit Lyme Regis. Perfect.

This was recommended to us by our hotel owner. It is best to book ahead. We were a walk-in on a Monday night, and the place was full. There is a fish special and other fish/shellfish specials of the day. There was plenty of staff, and we did not have to wait long between courses. It's not cheap, but it's well worth the extra as food is all fresh and excellent.Vegetarian options: Wild mushroom risotto.
