I really enjoy small plates, this place does them exceptionally well! They have excellent wine to match, great service and friendly staff. The atmosphere is also chilled, it's a great, romantic place to take your favourite person.

Really delicious, imaginative food with an emphasis on seasonal, sometimes foraged ingredients. The menu changes daily. Our shared small plates included flatbread with wild garlic and three cornered leeks. We enjoyed a rhubarb gin Collins also. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful dinner here with 3 friends. Unusual menu with some adventurous combinations that turned out to be very tasty. The service was good and the ambiance lovely. We were intrigued to find wine for Devon/Dorset area so their mantra of sourcing locally even extends to wines. Well priced and good quality food - I would definitely return to this restaurant on a future visit.

As vegetarians they offered an equally superb menu as meat eaters.

We found lilac by chance and popped in for a cocktail and we were greeted by Andrew, front of house. He made us feel very welcome and gave us a large (knowledgeable) selection of cocktails to choose from, and even made a cocktail that was not even available, he gave us a few tasters as well which was great!!! He was a super host, friendly, funny and attentive, a great place to go I highly recommend, and if you like nice relaxed restaurant with great chilled out background music give these guys a go!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED?
Love this restaurant. Food's always delicious (& beautiful looking). + Andrew makes great drinks and always makes us feel welcome

Wow. Best Sunday lunch I’ve had in ages. And dog friendly too. I would absolutely recommend. I have the vegetarian option and it was the tastiest thing I’ve had in ages. My husband had the pork belly. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Dined here whilst visiting Lyme Regis for a couple of nights. Had enquired via email if they could cater for a vegan and received a prompt (and positive reply) considering it was during the Christmas hols. The restaurant is both attractive and relaxed. We received a very warm welcome and the chef adapted the menu to suit a vegan (see photo). The dishes were things you wouldn’t find elsewhere. We had a small plate each and shared 2 medium plates, we found this enough to fill us up.
