The best chips we’ve had for years! Glorious golden colour and wonderfully crispy. Perfect amount of salt added, that went right to the bottom. We will definitely be back!

Upsetting, some of the staff weren’t the friendliest there seems to be a young girl in particular Who’s very rude. The fish batter was terrible and the chips were very soggy..

Excellent service. However my squid was really overcooked and the batter burnt.

Disappointing, fish batter is horrible and staff didn't seem so friendly. Pricing is a high considering the quality. Quantity seems okay however. Won't be visiting again.

Went for a vegetarian chip meal, no pea fritters and no vegan pies. “Run out” - not really acceptable for 6.30 pm. Other choice was pressed vegetable cakes! Yuk. Need to try harder. You wouldn’t run out of cod or chicken so why run out of pea fritters. Poor. Lost out on 5 meals.

Great food and kind staff also very fast and friendly service I would definitely recommend and I will 100% be coming back I would also recommend the little kiosk on the beach that also does fish and chips

Ordered small cod and chips. Cod was flavourless and chips very average but slightly better than cod. Shame really, bit of a tourist trap by looks of things. Shame these places have also all started using Heinz’s tartar sauce in the little packets.

I can only agree with the last review. Really poor. We both had cod and chips. Cooked in oil that needed changing weeks ago resulted in greasy over cooked chips. Cod was small with poor batter again because of the oil. This place needs to up its game considerably. If you haven’t guessed…..not recommended.

Whilst everything was cooked fresh to order. The fish was overcooked. Batter was rock hard and very crunchy. Chips were also really dry. No seasoning despite asking twice to ensure plenty of salt and vinegar. We had to use our tiny pot of curry sauce to moisten the food. Disappointed really for £32 for 2 x cod and chips. This is bordering on pub prices. Have had so much better for less money.**Edited after owner feedback**We ordered 1 x regular fish and chips, 1 x jumbo fish and chips, 1 x curry sauce and 2 bottles of coke.

Tasteless fish, small portions (half a cod fillet), which considering the poor quality was actually a blessing in disguise, heavily overdone batter and chips, extortionate prices for the lowest of the low. No redeeming features. Avoid at all costs.

This fish and chip that does nothing to celebrate its seaside location. or possible source of locally caught fish. My chips were a mixture of very well cooked and just cooked, so I suspect two batches were mixed. And if you fry very small pieces of potato along with normal sized chips, they will come out really hard - as mine did. No obvious sachets of mayo or sauce on display. Mean on the salt and vinegar. And did I really need a posh paper carrier bag to carry one portion of fish and chips 3 minutes up the road. Not for me.

Visited last night, freshly cooked cod and chips, huge portions. We really enjoyed it.Very friendly staff, it was raining and they offered for us and our dogs to wait in the dry.We always come here when we come to Lyme and never had any complaints.

Ordered for a my family of four. 2 kids meals which are good value for money with a drink included. However the adult meals are quite expensive. Took our meal down to the sea front to eat, only to find when we opened up that both kids meals were incorrect, ordered chicken nugget and chips but served fish and chips instead. Food quality was nothing special, certainly not bad but I’ve had better for less ££
